On Saturday I went to the Sakura Matsuri in Washington D.C. It was incredibly crowded and cold. They really need to hold it in areas with more space, rather than on the street.

 

However, I did get my hands on a 1/144 GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh and a 1/144 Evangelion Unit-00.

Oh that show was freaky.

 

Good freaky, but still freaky.

Suggestions: Don't watch End of Evangelion. It's far more messed up than the show.

 

Do watch the Rebuild of Evangelion films. If anything, they're less freaky than the show (so far anyway).

Episodes 25 and 26 are to be viewed with EoE. >< Thank god for the ANIMA translation project though.

 

00 looks amazing, I'd buy it for the Spear and being in scale with the only RahXephon model. >> Behold, my mech otaku-ism knows no bonds.
