It actually surprised me.
I thought it was gonna be pretty awful, but it was actually quite good.
Some of the acting was downright bad (namely the youth pastor and the token mean surfer girl), but the lead actress was really really good. She made up for everything else.
Worth seeing I thought. I recognized pretty much every location. Except there was one random scene in the parking lot of a grocery store that was most certainly not on Kauai. Kind of random. I mean, we have grocery stores here. Why did they film that one random scene on Oahu?
OTHER RANDOM MOVIE NEWS if you've seen the main trailer for Pirates 4 you've seen my bro. He's one of the screaming soldiers about halfway through the trailer.
