There's no way you could drive with it, your stuff would fall off if you turned the wheel.

 

I'd guess it's for working in your car while it's parked? Why would you even need to do that?

Actually, the way it looks like it's set up, it's on some sort of hinge or something or other so it can stay relatively horizontal.

 

That said, it is the desk of great MULTITASKING MASTERS.

I've bolded what I think is the most important aspect of that product description. The bit that, sadly, I think people will ignore, leading to mass chaos and Darwin rising from the grave purely so he can shout out "I told you so!"

 

And if you can't drive while using it...what's the point? Why not just use a normal desk?

 

EDIT: I'm beginning to realise I've been taken in by a joke. No way would the product pictures show car crashes. And look at those reviews

At first I was like "It's a wheel for your desk, what's the point?"

 

Then I looked again and realized I had it backwards.

I think it's for people like realtors and cops who are on duty or whatever and need to do paperwork while they're out and about.
