But I've finally decided (I think). I'm going with McToran. A Metruan just wouldn't look natural holding an instrument. XD

Now you see, I would make me a Metruan, but I honestly don't own one of those sets and have no clue how to go about spriting them. My other thought is that they would look (more) awkward holding an instrument, so I might as well stick with good old McToran...

 

Of course, I have no clue how to go about spriting anything else, but that's not important. Oddly enough, I really don't like sprites either; but not so much because of what they look like in and of themselves; rather, I dislike them because anyone can use a really good-looking kit that was most likely made by one of three people and put virtually no effort into making comics.

 

That's why I'm making my own sprites. Then I'll feel like I actually did the work.

Well, I'm making some sprites, but also some instruments once I get further down the road... i.e. January.

 

But, er, the Toa Metru ones were Rayg sprites, weren't they? The whole point is that I want to use one that are 100% original. :wakeup2:

You could always use 2003-style Matoran. Stronger, better built than Mctoran, but not as awkward as a Metruan! A perfect style for your sprites!
