I don't mind the fact that it's shifting focus.

No, I do mind the new attitude BZPers have towards Bionicle. For God's sake, lighten up people! Every topic I see that tries to hope for Bionicle's return is shot down by a half dozen people who a) don't ever want to see Bionicle live again or B) think that Lego won't ever bring it back. The latter are just pessimists, but the former... the former is one of the main reasons I've stopped reading topics here.

I mean, seriously. They even had the little "We are the true fans of Bionicle because we don't ever want it to come back." The mission statement seemed to directly contradict the name of it, TBH. It's nice that you have some grudge against Bionicle coming back and all, but why bother stamp out each and every attempt to ask Lego to bring it back. Mocking people (and, by and large, incorrectly, at that) by saying things like "letz bringz biooicleback!111!" is just rude. It's one thing to a view, it's another to lump the entire opposing viewpoint into the noob category.

Overall, they have painting the false picture that all people who want Bionicle back and dislike Hero Factory must be of a lesser intelligence level than them, because they didn't embrace whatever Lego put up for sale with open arms.

Not saying all people who believe that are like that, but a few of the more vocal people in the "We love Bionicle... but it had better stay dead!" group carry a lot of negativity to this site.

Me? I have faith that Bionicle will return and return successfully, at that. If there's one thing I think Lego's learned with Ninjago is that lines with story indeed sell better than those that don't. (eg Hero Factory).

PS - Yes, Hero Factory has a "story", but you could also argue every single Lego has a story on some level. When I say "story" I mean something that's deeper than a poorly written super hero story. Heck, if I want super heroes, why go to HF when you can get super heroes done well, like DC and Marvel?
