That was not a boring episode at all. Although, compared to insanity like RoH and Lesson Zero it IS kinda tame...

I'm glad you decided to give the show a chance. I would also recommend you watch Lesson Zero next, or another episode that spotlights more of the cast like The Best Night Ever (since the smaller cast was one of the few areas where this most recent episode was lacking). I honestly wouldn't recommend Return of Harmony until you've watched the far-less-breathtaking series premiere, since Return of Harmony draws a lot from that despite being WAY better. Save those two until you've seen enough to get a feel for the cast.

If I may, I'd suggest Dragonshy, along side the aforementioned episodes. It was my first one, and the deal breaker. :3

In the entire series (which I love), this latest one was my least favorite. Although it was entertaining, it involved themes that always mess up a video for me. So I think I can say at least most other episodes will be as entertaining, or even more so.

Aside from a few moments, I didn't particularly care for A Friend In Deed. It wouldn't have been one I'd have recommended anyone to start out with.

I'd say you have to watch the pilot first (it's good but compared to the rest of the series it isn't really the greatest) then watch Bridle Gossip and The Best Night ever. Then I recommend the season 2 pilot Return of Hamony prt 1&2 you may see a Bionicle connection.
