Assassin's Creed III comes out October 30th.

LEGO LotR.

At least that stays loyal to the franchise it came from.

lolwut? How is AC3 not 'loyal' to its franchise?

Lego LotR is likely to drop in price sooner than AC3 will do, though you'd miss out on that Elrond minifig pre-order bonus. AC3 seems to do more new stuff than yet ANOTHER Lego game does, so I'd go for that, and get Lego LotR on the cheap later.

I do have a plan.

I can pay for LOTR on the next paycheck, then pay for AC3 at the same time I pick up both, and that spreads out the finances.

I then enjoy the preorder bonuses of both and switch off between them when I get bored of one or the other.

Tomahawks. Hostage situations. Full on naval battles.

Where's the stealth, Ubisoft? You said there'd be stealth!

There probably will be stealth, 'cause you ain't not played the game yet. I expect they're just showcasing all the big showy good-for-a-trailer stuff for HYPE.

Hmm... You could always not buy either and wait until their prices suffer a fatal blow. Then you can send in your monetary troops to attack. Also, within the time you wait, you could easily build up your army and set aside a specific battalion for this cause.

YOU CANNOT LET THEM WIN THE WAR! FIGHT, CURSE YOU, FIGHT!

Fortunately for your supply of cash, but maybe unfortunately for you, Three comes out for Windows on November 20th. Really lame, but hey. At least now you can try and beat one game before getting the other.
