But beyond the huge amount of energies it would take, you would probably have to consider what's happening in the void left behind, and (if they go to space) how would they keep their atmosphere and such.

Hmm, The center would Crumble unless there was something Supporting it, and then it would all fall apart.

They kind of did this in an episode of Regular Show. Russia tried to steal parts of the US and send them hurtling towards their nuclear warheads. (they weren't allowed to shoot them at the US, so they instead shot the US to the bombs!)

Thrusters away! Time to visit Europe. I can totally do the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and all sorts of fancy resturants, and get back to my college classes on Monday, because my college (and my house) are hovering right over France!
