I actually did do something similar years ago, but I don't remember many of the details. It went pretty well, but it was simpler and included a traditional Mafia with a member in each faction.

 

This looks great, actually, I'd love to play it if it ran.

It sounds like Ninjago Mafia: Feudal Kingdoms. 

 

It might work if you have 24 hour rounds.

I've always favoured 24 hour rounds, and Feudal Kingdoms IMO had unreasonably long cycles.

Seems cool in that everyone has a role to play.  Although, to be honest, the Wraith sounds like it has the best role. 

 

Generally people lose interest and get bored when they don't have anything to do in Mafia, from my observations. So I decided that, should a spin-off attempt to correct that, that everyone should have a role. Keeps people interested longer since they can actually do things other than cast one vote.

That neutral role would have to be capable of a lot and I'm not sure how to execute it, but I'll take one into consideration. Or two.

You need to make me the neutral role and have me kill everybody. Again!

This looks cool. It seems mafia enough in that there are roles, voting, and most importantly, death. This looks fun, and I'd definitely play it

Got an idea for not one, but two 'neutral' secret roles now. Both powerful.
