MOC Halp

Cyrix

So I've been slowly touching up a few of the MOCs that have been collecting dust on my shelf, and there's been a problem with one that I can't seem to fix.

I've been stuck on how to armor the forearm in a way that's not too obtrusive but still covers it. Most ways that I've tried either stick out too much or aren't white (which is the color scheme of the MOC in question). So I'm looking for suggestions. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

White metru thigh armor piece. Put a white round 1x1 stud with hole in it. Use a short bar to connect to socket. Maybe??

Seems to me that a forearm that small doesn't really need extra armor? Particularly when it's already got two colors. Sometimes less is more.

Since the cross axle holes in that particular Y-joint style can receive a stud there are all kinds of things you could use to add texture or thickness, but most of them would add more thickness to the part that's already two modules wide than to the part that's only one module wide, which doesn't really help the design at all.

There are several parts in this category on Bricklink that could be attached between the Y-joint and the wrist joint and wouldn't add much length to the forearm.

Unfortunately I don't have many white rubber bands OR any spare white metru thigh armor pieces that aren't used in other places. Although those would probably work too, I had no idea that the cross axle holes could connect to studs until Aanch mentioned it. So I've got a few ideas of what to do with that. Thanks guys!
