You see, it's not Teal or Dark Turquoise, or even Bright Bluish Green.

IT'S CALLED TARAKAVA GREEN.

Any argument to the contrary is wrong.

(I will also accept Kongu Blue.)

Teal > That colour on Thornraxx that everybody calls 'teal' even though it's not even close to teal and is actually cyan. That colour is cyan. It is far too blue to be teal. Teal is way more greenish than that.

Enough of this impostor not-actually teal teal! It's time for the true, old teal to come back! No matter what name it's under. The name doesn't matter. Only the colour does. Call it Tarakava Green, call it Teal, call it Orange if you want... we are all united in our love for teal, and together, with the power of unity and friendship and turning into a kaita, we can BRING TEAL BACK!

Medium Azure. It's Medium Azure.

Anyway all you really need to do to save teal is invent a time machine, go back to 2007, convince Stafford that the Dark Panther would look really sexy in teal. That's not so hard.

Better yet, we know Lego had to match the colors in Disney licensing sets and others a few years later (probably written in their agreement somewhere), which meant that purple would've had to return anyway.

Or as it should be called, Onepu Red.

"Onepu Red" never came back. It's been retired for years, though a similar color (Bright Reddish Violet) currently exists to fill that gap. The purple in question, used on the Dark Panther, was Medium Lilac, or Dark Purple. Which in turn would have had to come back for the Knight Bus—that is, if Lego and its designers had known that the Harry Potter theme would come back with a vengeance after the long decline it had been on up until then.

Anyway, any color name can be valid so long as it doesn't leave room for confusion. I saw a review once that called Dark Red "Red-brown" and Reddish Brown "Dark red-brown". That kind of naming just invites all sorts of confusion! Bionicle fan-names, like Keetorange, Metru Red, or Mata Green, generally have no such issues.
