Well, I got some a couple interesting things coming for me in the next couple of weeks. So I figured why not use my blog to, well, blog about them.

1. I'm going on vacation next week! I'm going to have nine days off from my job. It will also be the first weekend I'll have off since last October. My Dad and I are going to Viva Las Vegas. Neither one of us has been there before, so it will be a new experience for both of us. And since we will be flying there, this trip will also be the first time I've ever flown on a plane. (Yeah, I really don't have the most exciting life.... ) I know this trip will be a lot of fun. I just have to get through one more week of work before it begins.

2. I'm sure some of you remember this blog entry I made on my cell phone awhile back. Well, since I'm going to Vegas next week and my camera feels a little outdated IMO for taking good quality pictures and videos, I've decided its time to finally join modern society and get a new cellphone. I would use it mainly for pictures and videos on the trip, since I think it would make more sense to get a phone for these things than a new camera these days. Especially since I've seen some good quality pics and videos on phones from my friends and I think it would easier to carry around while on a trip.

I don't know what phone I'm going to get yet, but I do plan getting it tomorrow. I will miss my flip phone, which I've had for the last seven years. But its time to move on from it.

...I will also admit the release of Pokemon Go may have also affected my decision to get a new phone.
