Underscore Posted November 27, 2016 it took me a couple times to beat it. I think it was on bacteria Quote Link to comment
Xaeraz Posted November 27, 2016 I've won as bacteria and virus both, but I just can't seem to get through fungus? You run out of DNA so you can't kill fast enough in the endgame. Quote Link to comment
Underscore Posted November 27, 2016 iirc, the way I did it is evolve the symptoms to total organ failure once everyone is infected. It's probably different for fungus, but I didn't play far enough to see. Quote Link to comment
Xaeraz Posted November 27, 2016 Fungus is very slow to move across borders on its own, so you're given a unique spore burst ability to infect a random untouched country. While this is great for hitting Greenland and Madagascar and their ilk, it costs more DNA every time you use it. You're basically stuck with a big DNA tax that makes getting Coma and Organ Failure really hard Quote Link to comment
FallenAtlas Posted November 29, 2016 I dunno I found Nano-Virus the hardest out of the basic plagues whereas I actually beat Fungus on the first time with every difficulty. What difficulty are you trying it on? Quote Link to comment
Xaeraz Posted November 29, 2016 I did actually manage to get past fungus on Normal, my current stumbling block is normal Necroa, since Z-com managed to get set up in Greenland and the Carribean on my last run. Quote Link to comment
