TBH I think about this a lot and I'm pretty proud of all of you. It's a really good community.

I dunno; I think we're here and this kind of chain of support grew to the point where people are more comfortable, which is good to be quite honest.

 

I know at least one person came to me (privately) after I came out looking for help, so it's really important that we be here for each other.

this is an excellent trend and i approve very much yes.

I think rather than it being specifically this site, it's more a matter of solidarity and feeling more comfortable when you see that you are not alone. It's great that we have this on BZP.

 

I was actually discussing this the other day with a friend who had the same experience on a Pokemon forum she used to frequent. They would do a yearly census there, and over five years it went from 10% of the members being LGBT to 92%, with around 45% of those being trans. It wasn't a particularly large forum, but it's still quite interesting. And really nice.

While the site's policies may still have a few holes that let some of the antagonization through, I'm glad that BZP has a community where people can feel comfortable enough to be open about things like this.

I'm happy for it, it's nice to have a site where there's actually a community of trans people in general on it considering how many places I've gone to and been the only one around. I knew a good number of the members for years, and knowing them and being offsite and stuff where they were around, was sort of where I got the courage and confidence to explore that information (both online and IRL) and it was nice to be able to come out in a place where it felt a lot safer to do so. 

 

Being the token trans chick in guilds and other places usually ends up with a lot of weird questions and everything, so I'm glad here that doesn't really happen lol

You are all so lovely and it's so good to hear that more trans girls and women feel safe and can have a nice small network of support and info based out of here. :3 I'm really happy and #blessed to call a lot of you friends and am always so proud of you! Y'all have also helped me in working out my personal gender and sexuality feelings and feeling accepted and valid.♥
