Well, my gloominess seems to have spread to my father as well (ITS CONTAGIOUS D:) He's working so hard on stuff for church and with the new wing that just got built and all he gets in return is just "where's this, where's that, why isn't this like that, why aren't people helping" and all that junk that people could prevent if THEY JUST HELPED instead of complaining, but noooo, they're too stubborn and rich and full of themselves...

ARG I HATE BEING A MIDDLECLASS PERSON IN AN UPPERCLASS CHURCH.

*inhales*

And the AC14 polls for Hand-Drawn and Computer Assisted categories ends tomorrow afternoon.

*exhales*

Thank you, that's all I have to say here. ><

About the polls: Guess who has my vote? :P

About the rest of the entry: It seems to have spread to my end of the internet also. I was gloomy all yesterday, and now my younger sister is. :(

I forgot to ask, did that stash of chocolate help? :P

Count yourself lucky, because some people can't even go to church. Because they have no limbs or are crippled. And because their churches and any other structures were burned down by roving bands of angry people with guns. Loaded guns.

Go to another church that acts like they should?

Seriously, differences in class should mean nothing. Ahh, well. I guess you can't expect much from humanity...

It is contagious!! =O

That's the thing. We're in a church where half the people's lives revolve around money and stuff. Money and stuff.

It's sad.

My friends were planning a trip to a theme park that I could not afford, and they're all, 'Why not, it's fun, you should go!' and for some reason, they just can't grasp the concept that I can't afford it, cause a lot of them have lived with wealth since they were little and they can afford whatever they want. It's difficult to make true friends because of that, but meh, it's just something that you have to live with after a while.

Live with what? Not having money, or not having friends because of it? Because I have been in both states my entire life. :P

The way I see it is; the wealthier you are as a child, the harder later in life would become to except that money isn't everything. And the fact that everything isn't there for you.

...

Why is it that whenever I try to explain something, I murder Grammar?

I doubt that even the great powers of the splell cheker could help that 'sentence'. I mean, it was that bad. :P

I'm pretty thankful most of my friends are not rich and understand what one can afford and what one can't, but I have had my share of friends like that, or a family, or a group of people overall, and I can tell you it hurts. >> It makes feel so crummy that you can't do things like most people can, especially for me. While I'm not in poverty, my family isn't really the most normal/middle class folks...so it can be very sensitive toward me. :(

But ugh, I hate it when a church is full of rich snobs....it really makes Christians look bad.

I swear if I get rich I’m giving it ALL away, money can mess up the nicest people. I’d prefer to be poor than to face problems like that.

*Hugs Nikira* Things like this happen, ya know? So just take it easy, and I'll share more of my pirate’s chocolate with you. :P

Speaking of which, I have some left in the fridge. Oo

I know what you mean... I got a scholership into a Christian Private School here thanks to my status as a missionary, so that's fine. But, a bunch of the other kids, especially in my class, are flippin' rich. I don't hang out with my class' core much, they're very... close? and snobbish. I haven't been able to make any really good friends in my class (except for this other new guy). It does get annoying, trying to co-operate with people who are a class above you and don't understand what it's like to have to budget yourself.

I think the point of that whole paragraph was that it's everywhere -- in churches, schools, chances are at work too. People who are richer don't understand what it may be like to not be able to have everything.
