We've still got the cat from several entries ago. He's made no attmept to leave, so we're just keeping him after all. :P

 

Dad named him Toby. It's very fitting for some reason.

 

Anyways, because he's still got his claws, he's been a bit of a nuisance. He loves to scratch up stuff.

 

Including us.

 

See, he hates to be handled. You can pick him up every now and again and he won't complain, but most of the time if your hands get anyhere near him, it's teeth and claws and a bunch of long, deep scratches and a lot of bleeding on your part. My sister got a nice "Tahu scar" across the face because of one of said attempts.

 

He's been getting in fights with the neighbor cats recently, so he comes home with all these new scratches or a piece of his ear in shreds. >< We thought that he had had one said wound across his chest (turned out that he didn't), but silly me, I tried to move his front leg while he was sleeping so we could look.

 

Next thing I knew, my hand was locked in his mouth and he was hanging off me by all 20 claws like a lemur.

 

It was kinda funny at first.

 

Then I tried to move.

And that's why my arm's got a nice large gauze patch on this morning. He got me pretty good. XD;

That's like our Felix: Because of a wound at his chest, he cries and whines when you pick him up. He's never scratched us, though different cat did treat my arm like a scratching post. :P

BTW, I never got my cat declawed... :fear:

 

So yeah, every so often I'll have a scratch or two on my body... And sometimes on my wrist... which is always awkward. XD

So yeah, every so often I'll have a scratch or two on my body... And sometimes on my wrist... which is always awkward. XD

Yeha, I've got a total of 15 on my left arm from just yesterday night, 5 of them deep.

 

At least it isn't like getting bit by a bird.
