The title is not intended to indicate that I am starting a fad, and if it was I would not see any fault in that. It is commenting on the existing sig fad. This new sig message is a historical satire on the issue.

What a relief it is to know that it was once not cool. But anyway, couldn't you just make your sig say "I hate rap" instead of lying and saying that statistics show such-and-such?

It might be a little too highbrow for most of BZ; remember, the population here is primarily comprised of children.

I completely agree. I don't see how it relates, though... this sig quote is neither meant to endorse or criticize impressionism, but rather to parody the belief that "if it's different and simpler than what came first, it's not real," and to even further parody the idea that "if I think something is bad, then my guess of how many people agree or disagree is suddenly perfectly true."

 

Realism FTW indeed, though I regret that I never have time for it and prefer to work in a simpler, more spontaneous style.
