Having some problems with BZP and ActiveX, so I may be absent for a bit... >< Arg.

Please keep three close friends of mine in your thoughts and prayers:

  • One is having some touchy situations with both her school and her church and is taking it very hard. She broke down right bfore our Christmas performance last night.

  • One is having to face some real difficult choices in both his life and the lives of people he knows dearly.

  • One has had to not only break up with a girlfriend he had been together with for three years and get nothing but rebuke back at him, but also has to leave a college he worked so hard to get into because of a chronic illness that appeared out of nowhere.

Christmas is the worst time to have problems, and these three individuals are definitely not having the most wonderful time of their lives right now - the third especially, as, unlike the first two, he has not put down the front that many people present when overwhelmed with a problem.

 

They need some real cheer and comfort - at least for the holidays, if not that. From somewhere or something or someone.

 

So please just keep them in mind these last couple weeks of the year.

I don't get this.

 

Why should we keep someone we don't know in our thoughts and prayers? But whatever...

 

It's called compassion, VTP. It's like with our soldiers or with people in the California wildfires - you realize something's happened to them, and even though you don't know who in the world they are, you keep on thinking about them, or praying for them, because you get that feeling inside to do so.

 

That's compassion.

 

I'd like someone other than myself to have some compassion towards my friends, as they won't let barely anyone know about their troubles during Christmas.

Man I can totally relate Theres all sorts of bad stuff happening with people close to me too.I don't normally pray but I'll do it for them hope they perk up soon.
