Man This Sucks...

Vezok's Friend

So today we got our certificates of acceptance today that will allow us to attend the finals and actually graduate.

Except for a friend of mine. Because one of his grades is one point of. Darnit. He doesn't deserve that.

How do you help a friend with a problem you have no influence on?

Ooh, that is not fun at all.

Is there anyone he can talk to about it? Such as the teacher of the class he's one point off in to see if he or she will raise it up enough to let him get the certificate?

Aparrently she's an immovable object in this case. And from what I got from talking to my dad, giving in now because of a plead would professionally compromise her credibility as teacher.

I mean that's what he said.

But from my point of view it can't hurt to ask her.

Yeah, I agree with you. I think that if she did show some kindness and gave him just enough points to make it so he could get his certificate, it wouldn't compromise her credibility as a teacher, but instead show that she can understand and accept that students aren't always going to be perfect and have other circumstances in their lives other than schooling. But, that's just my opinion.

Goodness, I know that there's been a couple of classes I've had in the last year that if I hadn't gone in and talked to the professor, I'd probably done absolutely terrible for sure.
