We were told not to make it more awesome than the BrickFair review, but we did anyway, and look where it got us

Can you post it here, so we can judge if DV is wrong or right for ourselves?

It was interesting for sure, but it did lack a bit of organization in the review process.

 

I loved the Baranus car though!

You kids are cute. And our music was better. Styx > Foo Fighters.

 

Foo Fighters are local, besides Come Sail Away did not seem to fit the theme, Smeag could've gone with better Styx songs.

 

And I don't care about your opinion, DV. You have a preexisting Bias.

 

Seriously, though, the review really wasn't all that great to begin with. It lacked that polish, that spirit... it really didn't shine, you know?

So I'll use Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd if it ever comes up again.

 

I suppose it is best, it wasn't that great to begin with. But then again I didn't watch all of it, because I was the editor; I never watch what I edit, I get so sick of listening to it by the end of the render, I couldn't bare to XD

Okay, you have a point. But did it really shine that much less than the Mata Nui review? With the exception of Kopakanui, everybody was pretty concise, and I still cut out "borning" parts of the speech. The only one that really shined was the Soda review, and that wasn't focusing on one of the sets.

 

Oh well. It's not like I can be associated with good reviews.

All joking aside, and removing as much bias from my view as is possible, I don't think your review sucked by any means. I am mostly just joshing you guys. It was far more on task than ours, but at the same time, I'm not sure I really got a whole lot out of the BrickCon review. I think one thing that might have held it back from the front page was the large number of non-staff involved in the review itself.

 

And it wasn't as funny or as fun as ours.

 

But I'm glad you guys built it right the first time. You beat us on that.

I still think we should have done the review in reverse order since we had already built the set before starting it. 8p
