Ding's* birthday is coming up this Sunday, and as a gift I wanted to make him a customized T-shirt. So I called a local shop, and it was about $25.

For one side.

For a light-colored shirt.

Ouch.

So, the new plan is to get some plain shirts and change the design into stencils. There's a special spray paint for fabrics that can be found at craft stores, so we'll just spray the design onto the shirt. We might even make two.

Another point for the Protosteel team... :sly:

Anyway, that actually sounds really cool. I may have to try that sometime, a custom T-shirt would be so cool, imagine one with a big UDD symbol on the front and/or back... *stares into distance, a glazed look in the eye*

That would be cool, just hard to do by yourself. (Getting the gradients on the UDD symbol right with spraypaint? I don't know how.) A plain silver one might work, though.
