Confused For Five Years

Okay, so in Return of the Jedi, Luke asks Leia if she remembers her mother. Leia says she died when she was little but she says she remembers her a bit and she describes her some.

In Revenge of the Sith, Padmé (there's an accent there, right?) dies in childbirth.

???

Was Leia talking about Organa's wife or something? I thought she knew she was adopted?

Old news, people have discussed that plothole for years now.

The two most logical explanations are that either it was Breha Organa she referred to, or she remembered Padmé through the Force.

Or.

Get this.

It's an inconsistent detail.

Then again, SW never interested me on a detailed level so I wouldn't know. I just watched the movies for the bright lights, the books kinda bored me a bit. XP

I believe Leland Chee has verified that Leia was remembering Padme.

These are powerful babies. They can remember stuff right from their birth.

Or maybe Revenge of the Sith just sucked. :)

IMO.

Eh, I thought it was pretty good. I and II were awful, though.

In what way? I mean, apart from Jar Jar getting annoying after a while, Number I was definitely one of the best of the prequels (Anakin was actually good in The Phantom Menace, before the terrible actor Hayden Christiansen replaced him). Of course, as I like all the Star Wars movies, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith were still good, though III had cooler stuff than II.

So I'd go with her remembering Padme via the Force. Either that, or she has really good memories of her day of birth.

OR Bail Organa told Leia about her real mother and she looked into records of her ad looked at pictures and holographic images and all that other stuff people do to remember lost family-members, ever thought of that?

She's old enough to handle the info of being adopted.

After all, if Leia remembered her through the force, why does Luke say he knows nothing of her?

Not to turn this into a discussion about the quality of the movies, as inevitably happens with these sorts of things, but it is a relief to see someone say positive things about 1 and 2. I'll say that I too like them and will watch them every now and then.

Hey, I enjoy watching the movies, they're still fun. But I don't think they're very good. A ridiculous amount of plot holes and bad acting. I'd refer you to this amazing(ly hilarious) 70 minute long Phantom Menace video review (the same guy did one for episode 2 as well, but I haven't watched it), but it's on a site with a comment system and the video has a lot of profanity and some innuendo. XD
