Bzpower For The Droid? (tell Me If You're Interested)

I'm going to learn coding for Android. A good first step is a simple, easy, app. So I'm going to make one.
I need ideas, though. I'm currently thinking of making a mobile version of BZPower. But are there really that many BZPers with Android?
It'd be free, and ad-free. Well, BZP has ads, so I might need to include theirs, but we'll see. It'd basically be a mobile-friendly BZPower, with the news, forums, blogs, and all that.
I'd assume permission would be necessary, so if I get enough requests I'll ask.
It costs around $30 for me to become a developer, so if there isn't enough support, I won't really have any incentive to put it up. I might make it anyway and use it myself, but probably not upload it.
So, anyone out there got a good Android phone? Anyone with any of the Droids? Anyone got a Nexus One? Desire or Legend, like me? Or perhaps you're considering getting an Android phone, maybe the EVO? Or do you all have iPhones? 
If you want/have an Android device, let me know, especially if you'd be interested in a BZPower app.
Or, if you're not interested, what kind of app do you want, that you can't find? I need ideas.
