You should back it up. My computer's logic board died...URGH...so now I have to use either my dad's laptop or my mom's computer. But, I have my stuff on an external hardrive. So, keep backing it up in case it dies and then you won't have to pay people to get your stuff off of your dead computer.

What's it doing exactly? I had a virus a couple weeks ago that was pretty evil and I thought I would have to wipe everything, but my uncle figured it out and I know how to get rid of it.

You guys remember my computer flipping out at Brickfair? Yeah, a week later I had to wipe the HD and start all over, which sucked. I lost a boatload of photos that I hadn't been able to backup yet.

 

Backup everything, often.

It's not the Vista/Windows Security Virus - I've already had that once this year, and that completly took over my computer. Whatever is on my computer right now is re-writing parts of the registry, so that one hour something will work, the next it won't. It disabled IE for a few days, disabled Windows for a whole day, and has deleted and rewritten stuff all over the place. Bleh. :|
