Hey, looks nice ... I like the clouds. But is "Life" suppposed to be on the opposite side of the banner as the others? It looks ... random. Like it just decided to go over there on its own because it felt like it. Actually, I sort of like it. *raises a toast of lemonade to August, but it evaporates before he can drink it* ... Actually, I kinda wouldn't mind for it to be September. *melts*

So that's where you've been ... Now, Toro, on Friday, did you wake up before two, or did it just take you that long to get ready? I hate it when traffic's that heavy ... Of course, I would have welcomed missing a ball game, but you know me. Interesting that the city Target had so little stuff ... Yeah, the audio stations in bookstore CD departments are fairly common. I'm actually listening to bits of the PotC 2 soundtrack from iTunes as I'm typing this. It's awesome. Better suited to fighting the Piraka is what I'd say ... Since the Nuva have a whole lot more experience, but the Inika have their different mask powers and the lightning, which do work better against the Piraka. I agree, though, the fact that they can fight the Piraka one-to-one is eyebrow-raising. *raises eyebrow and strokes his chin* And yes, it is nice to have a fully united team of Toa for once, isn't it? After all, Matoro and Jaller are anything but typical fire and ice Toa ...

So ... I have a blog. This actually came about in an interesting manner. About a week ago, I was in Toys R Us deciding whether or not to get Toa Hahli. I was already getting the Viking Fortress (for which I have Ninjo to thank most directly), and I eventually decided not to get her, as one set that I had been wanting for ages was enough, not to mention quite euphoria-inducing by itself. I later decided that Hahli's $10 price tag, plus an additional dollar, could very well go to Premier Membership, and I could get her later. Since, as Vezon says, "After all ... the waiting is half the fun." None of which helped the fact that I still haven't the faintest idea whether I want Hahli, Hewkii, or Jaller more. So, what will I be putting here? A variety of things. Teasers of MOCs and Epics, art that I don't feel like posting in the Artwork forum, sprites that I make when I'm bored, conspiracy theories, maybe even ponderings on Matoràu. And ramblings. Lots of those. Possibly poetry. Also, announcements of new short stories and epic chapters. And since I actually have one at the moment, I'll just use this entry to announce it ... Lightning in Darkness, a short story involving Jaller's thoughts as he's trapped in the Toa canister before and after his transformation. Something really freaky was that I wrote it on two separate days while I was on vacation, and the night of each day there was a huge lightning storm. As in light-up-the-sky lightning. Totally freaky coincidence. So ... yeah. Expect this to start looking more Tiome-y in the days to come, once I've gotten the content blocks organized and adorned. Thanks to Toro for helping me figure out what on Earth half the settings mean. Oh, and why The Memory of Trees? Well, I love the phrase, and it's apt to my personality, seeing as forests are easily my favorite places. And it only fits that I love the song, as well as the album it's from. Expect the content box art to manifest the title ... ~ ToM

Ooh, you got Hahli! I almost got her two days ago (... The 23rd ... that would have been freaky: we would have both gotten her on the same day. (Edit: Oh, wait, you got her on the 22nd. And announced it very early on the 23rd.)), alongside the Viking Fortress, but I decided I'd wait. Decided I'd use the $10 (+ $1) for a year of Premiership instead. Of course, now I only want Hahli more. Ooh, arctic oceans ... I like that description of her. And the Elda, and the blended pieces ... You're making me jealous. Photography? I always use two pieces of white posterboard as a backdrop over a white tablecloth, on a table next to a large window, which works well ... Since any lamp results in yellow lighting (well, a deskside lamp type thing), I always use indirect sunlight. ... Now what on Earth were you doing up at 3 in the morning?! Off to bed with you!

Well, Premier Membership for free ... I have to admit, I was tempted, too, but I think I'd rather pay for Premiership and be able to maintain a blog for longer than a week. Still, it's amazing how many there are ... Whee! *hugs his Defender of Mata Nui icon* Hey, I just noticed your blog's subtitle ... Love it. Gotten any more Inika lately?

Aïe ... Stuck with mm, Toaraga, and Onuki ... Even so, I loved your entry. One of the most realistic ones, if you ask me ... Excellent job on it. By the way, about that grammar advice you were given ... Even if a noun ends in S, the possessive is still -'s. So it is Boreas's. *laughs* I know how you feel about calling ... my TRU must have felt that way last week, but I was lucky enough to get different people both times. You might want to try calling there, too ...

Toro has a blog! (Heheheheh. Heh. All this time I thought you were talking about your old blog. The MSN thing. Heh.) Anyway ... yeah, you know I'm going to see it. I've told you before. But I felt like commenting on a blog. ... And so I have commented. Yeah.

A guide on irony ... it would be totally ironic if someone misused the subject word in commenting on it. My hopes that some more people read this: "irony" is misused way too often. And on the subject of misused words, how about "decimate"? Or at least the original and literal meaning thereof, being to destroy one tenth of the direct object... Unless one's force has less than ten people, in which case I'm not going to think about how decimation applies. On an irrelevant note, do you know Latin by any chance?

One set just for two pieces? I can think of worse. Like buying a set for just one piece. Or Dracus mainly for his unquestionable spiky shoulder armor in black glitter. But that's not worse. Oh well. And remind me not to be in the same room with you next time you're in a bad mood. Not that I ever seem to be in the same room in the first place, but a spiky-ball-on-a-chain weilded by Tufi-in-a-bad-mood wouldn't end well for anyone else in the room. ... On second thought, spiky-balls-on-chains can and do do a lot of damage. So maybe the next county would be safer. And puns are severely underrated by the general populace.
