  1. Off the top of my head, I have female Dream world ability:-Vulpix-Poliwag-Dratini-Lapras-Eevee-Gligar I'd be willing to trade someone any of these if they could help me out with an evolution trade.
  2. Because you can NEVER have too much protection! ...eh. Fixed that. One of them is Earthquake. Have to be careful using it when your partner is Tyranitar, but that's where Air Balloon and Protect come in. Anywaaay, I need help evolving a Poliwhirl and Porygon. If anyone can do an evolution trade with me, I have a number of female Pokemon with Dream World abilities to give you in return.
  3. Save yourself the sex change, boys are allowed too!
  4. I suppose I may as well share my Subway doubles team. I even managed to beat Emmet with it once: Tyranitar @ Air BalloonAdamant natureSand Stream252HP/252Att/6 Spe-Protect-Earthquake-Rock Slide-Crunch Landorus@ Rock GemJolly NatureSand Force6HP/ 252 Att /252Spe-Protect-Rock Slide-Fly-Earthquake Excadrill@ Focus SashJolly natureSand Rush6HP/ 252Att/ 252Spe-Rock Slide-Earthquake-X-scissor-Protect Gyarados@ Lum Berry-Ice Fang-Protect-Aqua Tail-Earthquake Main strategy is to spam Quakeslide, but the common weaknesses means there is some prediction involved, especially with Tyranitar's Air Balloon/Excadrill's sash and Fakeout users. I think having Protect on everyone is a good strategy, as it's saved my backside quite a few times (especially when it comes to avoiding Ally earthquakes). Sometimes it just feels wrong that a team with three weaknesses to water does so well... but, hey, I'm not complaining.
  5. Anyone seen the Red Nose Day skit? I think the title was "Space and Time". It's available online in all regions, so it may be good for all you Who-deprived people who haven't watched it yet.
  6. There's always that risk, but, really, it depends on the people discussing it. To use the row over "The Yesterday Quest" as an example, I think a lot of the conflict came from the fact that many people dropped into various topics just to say "Look, this isn't important! Quit your whining!", which, of course, upset the people who did care about the issue. I think not caring about certain issues is fair enough, but rubbing it in the faces of the people who do care is extremely rude. Whereas, most people don't visit this topic unless they actually do care about gender dynamics and issues. We may not always agree on everything, but I think we generally respect each other's opinions here.
  7. The forums were down for nearly six months. Greg only updated the serials once in that time, and it was a concluding chapter to boot. I would not be surprised if this is it for the serials.. But even if Greg doesn't continue the story, I wouldn't want BZPower to lose touch with him. I'd be interested to see some of his post-Bionicle work.
  8. Hi all! Welcome back. I couldn't find an "Official Bzpower Girls' corner V", so this can serve that purpose until it's back up. Here's the info from the front page of the last one: Here's hoping it's just as awesome as before!
  9. My favourite episode this season has to be "The Doctor's Wife", mostly for this exchange: Doc: She's the TARDIS... but she's also a woman... but she's the TARDIS... but she's a woman!Amy: Did you wish really, really hard?Doc: Shut up!TARDIS: Hello! I'm "Sexy"!Doc: ...Still shut up! EDIT: Also "Let's Kill Hitler", for leaving us in suspense about who's going to try and kill Hitler, then locking him in a closet and forgetting about him.
  10. I think I'd lost a lot of interest prior to the downtime (I think it started around the time of the "The Yesterday Quest" controversy), but the downtime certainly didn't help. I have been thinking though, that I would really like to see a rebooted Bionicle, with a different continuity, which would hopefully clean up some flaws of the "G1" series. So, I haven't exactly given up on Bionicle entirely, but I have certainly become disenchanted with the current continuity.
  11. Ahhh... it's good to be back. When we last left off, I believe we were talking about which Bionicle characters look like which Pokemon. I made this sketch in Photoshop and have been waiting a long time to share it: Linework is a bit shoddy. This was one of my first drawings with a graphics tablet. EDIT: GAH! Why is it so big? I thought these forums gave you a resize option...
  12. Hello again everyone! Carrying over from a topic in the old forums, would Bionicle work as a feature film in cinemas? There is a trend for movies based on toy lines at the moment- everything from Stretch Armstrong to Candyland has signed up for a film (Even Lego itself has one in the works). Could Bionicle benefit from this trend at all? Would you even want to see a Bionicle movie? Why or why not? If so, how should they go about it? Would it be marketable to a wide audience? From the old discussion, it turns out that Lego has, in fact, recieved several pitches for a Bionicle film. This didn't happen for a multitude of reasons:* Some of the studioes wanted to put human characters in. Lego refused.* The deal with Tinseltown Toons prevented other studioes from releasing Bionicle DVDs.* Bionicle supposedly does not reach a wide enough audience for brand recognition.* And, finally, the line ended before the contract with Tinseltown Toons expired. But what do you guys think? If things had happened a little differently, would a Bionicle film have worked?

    It's A Girl :)

... Wait a minute! I've just realized something! The end of Bionicle was announced approximately nine months ago. And you know what that means... It means Mata Nui was right! Think about it... given the circumstances, it's entirely possible that, were it not for the end of Bionicle, little Alexandria may never have existed. It happened for a reason! ...if that's not proof that destiny exists, I don't know what is...

    It's A Girl :)

Called it! Congratulations, Greg! And that's a very beautiful name, too.
  15. Well, happy 18th for Friday then! :)

  16. Actually, I was thinking the other day that LOST's premise is a bit similar to the first few years of Bionicle: A bunch of people on a mysterious island that is not what it seems. Then there's flashbacks of how they got there etc etc (I haven't watched Lost for a few years, so I'm a bit fuzzy on details). But as these revelations happened, the number of people watching it started to drop... But personally, I like being able to speculate for a while and then have the truth revealed. I probably wouldn't still be with Bionicle if the plot didn't progress beyond cyborg heroes fighting monsters on an island.
  17. Yeah, thankfully Toph's a bit too young to be shipped off with anyone!

  18. There's probably a copy of it somewhere on the net...

  19. Yes, it was the flash animated episodes. It was right at the end of the Bohrok saga.

  20. Did you mean Macku and Hewkii on the lily pad? That was way back in 2002, when they had the web animations on bionicle.com.
