Wow...that would have shifted the BIONICLE franchise drastically...

Which console game do you like the best?
Toa Doublebee replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Discussion
A couple years ago I ordered the 03 game from either ebay or amazon, but it came in without the disk. While disappointed, I was too lazy to do anything about it, and to this day I have never played it. Heroes however is a different story. I played it so much back in elementary school that I got a mild rash on my back from being glued to the sofa so much... Childhood, eh? -
When BIONICLE was a still a thing and going strong, I hated these things too. But nowadays I think I would pick some of these up if I saw it being sold in a physical store (as opposed to ordering one online). It would be interesting putting together what looks like a BIONICLE set again. However I do not condone boot leg products such as these, obviously.

I disagree with the above opinion, I like how the teal seems to be Lewa's "skin" and the grey seems to be some armor of sorts. I like to think the trans light green bits are leaves of sorts, and the armor is composed of some biomechanical flora. I do have to agree that the little creature doesn't really strike me as Kongu... It seems like he has been turned into a mascot-like moneky pet thing... But the design itself is excellent nonetheless!

New Cryoshell Single Released
Toa Doublebee replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
Holly Mukau, really? A new Cryoshell song? Something about their music makes me nostalgic, even the ones that are not associated to BIONICLE. I'm really happy to hear that they are still ,aking more music. I'm so thrilled~! -

The Protectors have no jaws in The Journey to One
Toa Doublebee replied to Toa of Gallifrey's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Is the show worth watching? Never really got around to it. Which is absurd cause it is a freaking BIONICLE tv show. -
What do Ussal crabs like to do in their spare time? The Pewku things.

I love to see all the various interpretations fan artists give the bohrok. I think this comes to show how good their original design is.

Looks hot I really like these kind pieces where the MU is brought closer to our own world.

Honestly, at this point I don't know if I rather have it stay dead or brought back, if I rather remember it for what it was, for face being disappointed with newer stuff that I might not get into. (Be it from rose tinted nostalgia goggles or otherwise) The 2015 Toa sets where phenomenal imo, but nothing else in G2 really captured the magic that was in 2001-2003 of G1. So aside from it far too early for there to be a G3, if they try to rehash the whole mysterious tribal island theme it would feel repetitive. I was thinking that perhaps what they should do later down the line is maybe try to recapture the industrial/urban feel that 2004 and Metru-Nui gave off, but I suppose that might be too similar to Hero Factory. Maybe if they do bring it back, they should just take it to bold new directions instead of looking back on old ideas.

I bought tickets for a raffle but they are not showing up?
Toa Doublebee replied to Toa Doublebee's topic in BZPower Q&A
Nope! Thank you very much for the reassurance! -
We're all living in Amerika
Toa Doublebee replied to ...The Chosen One...'s topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
Bwahahahahahah this is great! Awesome eagle build (with a bandolier of burgers). I especially like the build for the barbecue and use of Kraata as chicken. Listening to the song makes this moc 5 times better as well. -
Something weird I noticed
Toa Doublebee replied to CommanderKumo's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
That sounds awesome! But yikes, a lifeless Jaller just laying there on the surface for the current Jaller to find sounds really dark and creepy. -
I've bought tickets to join the 17th Anniversary big raffle, and I've even gotten an email from paypal confirming my tickets, but in the raffle page I do not see my tickets added to the sum of tickets bought, nor do I see my user in the list of users registered. So...anyone can clear this up for me? First raffle I take part in.

Free Sets - Just Pay Shipping!
Toa Doublebee replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
I've never taken part in any of these. Might be the time to start. When I click the link, all I see is the BZP shirt for sale. Is this because I am not in the US? -
Yo I do like sum Bonkklez and this art is metal. I like the Pakari better than the Kakama, but the Kakama is no doubt cool.

This pic of 'Zakaz' is clearly Le Metru, right?
Toa Doublebee replied to Distorted's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
Places looking similar is not un-heard of, but I am definitely going with laziness for the irl explanation. -
Ooohh I like all the vehicles. The clown is my favorite! I like the one with Ekimu as well.
-
I disagree that all the Metru masks look nothing like their noble counterparts. Aside from the Ruru and the Komau, I can see some slight carry over features in each mask. I just might make a comparison photo if I find the time/energy one day. As for masks born from my own imagination, how bout' a mask of history? Allows the user to see the history of an item/person/location. would be useful for investigating crime scenes, or solving any sort of mystery.

The Revolving Door - Official I'm New! / I'm Back!
Toa Doublebee replied to Makaru's topic in General Discussion
So, I have been "back" before, but I have gone on hiatus again...so...here I am. The thing is, I made sure that the BZP front page is the first site that shows up when I open my we browser intentionally in an attempt to make myself be more active on this site, but here I am, 16 months since my last post. So yeah, another old BIONICLE fan reporting for duty. Doing my part to keep this community and fanbase alive.- 207 replies
