  1. "bring yourself online" Built for the Bio-cup preliminary round, the theme is the future. Westworld has one of the most interesting portrayals of the near future I've seen. Humanoid robots called Hosts populate a vast theme-park humans visit for an escape from reality. These hosts are printed by more traditional industrial robots. Such a cool visual. Played around with some lighting for this one, really liked how it turned out.
  2. Nicknamed Shadow by the locals, this fearsome creature is the pack leader of the Tarākuna. These highly intelligent Rahi live far away from Le-Koro in the Kumu Islets where only brave adventurers and Toa dare to venture. 3. Lord Oblivion patrols the stars, bringing order to an otherwise order-less galaxy. He’s just tracked down the infamous war-criminal and bounty-hunter Marq on Qurtal-Prime. Needless to say, this was not the Christmas Marq was hoping for… A secret Santa for my friend @LordOblivion, one of my favourite builders and a real leader in the Bionicle community. Cheers, buddy! 5. Thanks all! You are probably right, anything in particular? Lower arms come to mind for me but in curious if you saw anything else! Cheers
  6. Some Ta-Koro tohunga whisper stories that these Rahi are Makuta's hatred in the flesh... --------------------- My entry for round one of the Bio-Cup, the challenge was to create a fire Rahi.
  7. "Go, my sons. Use the shadows, and keep my brother asleep."
  8. F-28 is a droid for hire... If you can afford it. C&C encouraged!
  9. Thanks for the support everyone! Aanchir, good catch on those links. I've updated the description, the link there should take you to the pictures on flickr!
  10. The Gamma Dragon flys high into the sky to absorb gamma rays usually shielded by the atmosphere. Theses rays allow for tremendous power and give it a glowing appearance. -------------------- I finally got a chance to put the head used for my profile picture into a moc! Full-size pictures can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/gamma-raay/31365486326/in/dateposted-public/ Thanks for checking it out! Let me know what you think.
  11. Here's my entry to the Makuta challenge on Rebrick. In this design I really wanted to include elements from the story. For instance, the skull spider on his chest represents the first wave of G2 sets. Additionally, I wanted to give a little throw-back to the original series. I did this with the infected mask hanging on his belt. And the story wouldn't be complete without Makuta's mask of control so I made a brick-built version of it to suit the larger scale of this build. Thanks for taking a look and good luck to everyone in the contest!
  12. Now for something a little different from my normal Bionicle stuff! One of my main goals in building this was to incorporate Bionicle parts into the build in some way. Partly because I had a shortage of system parts but mostly cause Bionicle is awesome.
  13. Wow! Thanks so much to everyone who voted for Dume and Nivawk, I really appreciate the support! It's actually my first time placing in a BBC contest so I'm really happy, especially considering how good the rest of the entries were! There were entries that didn't even make the final poll that I absolutely loved. What a great way to welcome back Bionicle! Congrats to all the other winners!
  14. Thanks for dropping by guys! Thanks! Hopefully, we will see an official announcement soon! It was really encouraging to see the warm response that this moc has received.
  15. Good luck to everyone! Self voted on this one. There are so many great entries!
  16. Self voted on this one The entries here look outstanding, best of luck to everyone!
  17. Sounds like a fun event! This is a really nice Moc. But considering you were limited to protector parts only for the dragon makes it even better!
  18. The trans ball parts in the dino sets look really interesting to me! I can't wait to see them being used as spaceship canopies or any other use for that matter.
  19. These guys turned out cool! I like how well you were able to transfer their G1 aesthetics into a G2 style. I kinda wish that their blasters had been replaced with the new ones, but I totally see the reasons for keeping the midak blasters. Nice entries and good luck in the contest!
  20. Nice Job! I really enjoy what you were able to do with her hair. Much improved on the original. Good luck in the contest!
  21. Awesome! These are really nice, I like that they are built from the sets like many rahi from the early 2000s! The jungle rahi are my favourite I would say. I like how colourful they are. Now I want to make some of my own!!
  22. Cool Stuff! These guys were one of my favourites from 01. Nice to see there is a mechanism!
  23. So I decided to remake Dume and Nivawk for BBC 69. I wanted both of these to have action functions in the spirit of the 2015 Bionicle sets. Dume features moving arms using the new gearbox part and Nivawk's wings can open and close similar to the original set! Here is a demonstration of the wing function. When the knob is turned the linkage opens and closes the wings!
  24. Congratulations on a well deserved win! The tentacle villain was quite cool but I hardly think that the rest were eyesores. I find that statement quite hurtful personally. It's fine to state your opinion but there is no need to be rude about it.
