  1. My family never says anything negative about it. They think brickcon looks fun and creative. I never worry too much about it though. My Dad always says I can do whatever I like as long as it isn't harmful to myself or others. I am in college so he is more concerned with me sticking to my schoolwork and not getting into drinking or some crazy stuff.
  2. Ok. I posted it there so you can go ahead and delete this thread. Sorry about that.
  3. I don't have any experience with mocs. I want to build a city bus that is semi realistic. What would help me out are:General tips on how to mocWhat sets will help me get good parts (I think a lot of the city sets with large vehicles might be good)How to figure out dimensions without buying a load of bricks I don't need. Thanks for your patience.

  5. Yeah that is one thing I didn't expect. I have been collecting magic cards/ yugioh cards and those tend to depreciate unless they are a super good card. I didn't think that lego would appreciate in value faster. Seems like you get an awesome Yugioh pull and 2 sets later its trash. (This is part of the reason I only play casual nowadays)
  6. Some of them have arrived in Washington state too.
  7. (This might be in the incorrect place, I appologize for the incovenece)Since I want to get some parts/mini figs I tried looking at bricklink and some other sites that carry used lego. I wanted to get the Aztec Warrior from the minifig series and he costs 5$. What makes them cost so much and where can I go to get ones that cost a little less?Is there a secret to getting cheaper lego? If anyone is willing to help me find some it would be much appreciated. I would be willing to trade but the only item I have that I am willing to trade is the bride from the minifig series and I don't think anyone wants her. I have an extremely small lego collection due to losing most of them in a move.
  8. I have Cole's Tread assault on top my desk.
  9. If you are working with a chemical that does not damage skin the body still absorbs things. It is best to wear gloves to reduce the ammount of chemicals that go into your body.I know I probably don't need to say this but I feel like I should because my welding instructors pointed this out to me. It's not going to hurt you if you get a little bit of a chemical on your hands on occasion but if you do it often it can make you sick. Again sorry for sounding like somene's worrywart grandpa or something.
  10. I have a pair of machinist calipers. I took a few measurements of what I have.Neck- 4.88mmHead- 10.16mm (width) 11.65 (height)I am having trouble with the arms and the hands as they have some curves. I am terrible at math so I don't want to mess anything up.
  11. I was wanting the dark knight or the aztec guy.Ehh mabey I can trade her at brick con. (I don't know any other fans of lego IRL )
  12. What set has the golden nunchucks Or what parts can I use to make my own? Thanks!
  13. I thought the bohrok were really neat.
  14. I ended up pulling the bride. UGH. I cannot tell what is in the bags be feeling them. So I am not buying any more. I have no idea what to do with her and I hate just throwing things away.
  15. Bionicle will always be my fav.I would say ninjago out of all the current themes though.
  16. NRG Jay and Jay ZX Booster.I am working on getting all the ZX ninja and mabey Kai's blacksmith shop.
  17. My target also sucks for ninjago stuff. All they have is the big sets, no boosters or spinners. TRU's prices are awful (Why spend 12$ when the lego store is 9$ for a spinner?)I'm not complaining, because I am fortunate to have a lego store in my area. It is just a huge pain to take 2 buses to get there and 2 buses back.
  18. Are they posting full eps on lego.com? I can only find them on a certain video sharing website bleeped out by BZP.
  19. So I ended up going to the lego store today. I went to TRU first but all they had was Spitta. When I went to the lego store they had pretty much everything and I got the set I wanted. Also, the Lego store was 3$ cheaper than TRU. So I recommend them.
  20. The artwork. I really liked the comics and that it was something different from lego guys. I hope they will bring it back in a few years kinda like beyblade had a revival.
  21. I literally cannot find any spinners though. The only ninjago I can find are the boxed lego sets (not spinners) I tried looking by the board games and yugioh cards since the spinners might get shelved there but no luck. If the rain quits pouring so hard I might catch a bus to the lego store a few cities over.
  22. I second the welder.I also think that they should make punks, a punk dude and a punk chick (if they haven't already)
  23. Are the NRG spinners out yet? I cannot find them in my local stores, I tried Fred Meyer, Target and BarnesNoble. (Yes they sell Lego Bricks now). Thanks, and sorry if this was in the incorrect place.
  24. This is kind of a random thought but it is proof that genders don't always matter. We all know that the blue Toa are usually female (I don't think there are any that are not but I could be incorrect) When one of my buddies showed me a picture of the Piraka lineup I thought they were the new Toa at a fast glance and I thought Vezok (the blue one which I suspected as female) was the coolest looking one and wound up being my favorite bionicle. I later figured out Vezok was a guy but that didn't make me like him any more or less. (I am a guy if that makes this example/random thought more clear as to why I brought it up)
