  1. Chroniclers seems popular, but many people have said it's confusing. However, over on the TTV message boards, this discussion came up, and member ENDfilms brought up the idea of Bio-chroniclers, which dodges such confusion. Just a thought conveyed among two forums
  2. Let's not forget that, if not for Takua, the Toa Mata would never have gotten to Mata Nui, and the whole Bionicle Story would never have happened. If not for Takua and Jaller, there's no Takanuva. Twer it not for the Matoran Nui and the Chronicler's Company, the Toa Metru and the Toa Mata would be dead. If not for me right now, you wouldn't be reading this . Also, were it not for Takua being such a dashing success, no other Matoran would have been built.
  3. Although I only ever used that quote once in my stories, most of my fanfics feature Matoran heroes. I confess, I may have used a Bionicle quote or two to compare Bionicle to HF. Also, you mustn't forget that Bionicle was fundamentally better than HF. Okay, I'm kidding. Mostly. You don't see a Bring Back HF club, or a HeroZonePower. Even HS01 went down in flames. Unless they fixed it already.
  4. That's why you write it down. that's what paper and pen/pencil are for. That's why there are Birthday wish lists. Or, as Bioniclepluslotr just pointed out, he could say the black guy in a set. And, if he's gonna describe it, he could say "the guy with the big gun." But it'd make the most sense to write it down. I never had this problem, since my mom was almost as big of a Bionicle fan as I was, but I don't see how it could be a problem.
  5. Hmm, now Onua's afraid of heights, too. Although, I think he already was in the original Bionicle, so no complaints there. Also, now Lewa's sarcastic, and still no further explanation of his powers. And the new signature moves seem like something straight out of HF. Like, in Makuro's Guidebook, in the Faceoff section at the end.
  6. I just noticed something: one of the pictures linked to on the main page shows two protectors looking at a cave drawing that show what appears to be the six Toa shooting beams of energy that all connect at the top. Protodermis confirmed?
  7. Forget the gold masks, I want those pedestals they're on.
  8. The masks Ekimu and Makuta made were awards, which is why all the protectors have the same masks.
  9. It kinda bugs me how the Hau and Akaku look squarish, like they tried to make the masks look like Minecraft. Also, does anyone know when/where/how the winners of the NYCC mask giveaway are announced? Did anyone here win one?
  10. For the sets to be here sooner! Yeah, I agree, Bionicle 2015 lives up to expectations. Edit, surpasses, not lives up to.
  11. What exactly do you mean there? As far as I know, the only time we have stuff Lego has actually said is that new video, Lego's FB page, and Bionicle.com. Everything else is secondary info from people lucky enough to be at comic-con(unless there's something I've missed). And secondary info is how I know it's a soft reboot. I wish I could present hard evidence of it, but... well, maybe Lego will be a little less vague today. Edit: hey, I heard somewhere (I don't remember where) that Kopaka's legs on the new set don't bend very well. Maybe this could have something to do with his in-story clumsiness.
  12. Does anyone know when the winners of the NYCC silver Tahu mask will be announced, or were they already?
  13. Well, I now have reason to know it is definitely a soft reboot -- the old Toa, different world. I can live with that.
  14. TTV says when they're speculating though. All of their info came from official Lego sources, or so they said. The only speculation I can see is what we've made based on vague, confusing things Lego said. I don't see how you can not trust TTV. I will admit I'm a very trusting person, but still, they don't seem to be that untrustworthy. (Unless it's April 1st, of course)
  15. A: their speculation is later in the same post. That whole part was things they learned. B: didn't say anything was uncalled for. I just found it funny that two groups could be such polar opposites. But, of course, that's life.
  16. Unfortunately, no true TV show; and the books are the primary medium, which is... odd.
  17. I find it funny that the idea of a soft reboot is met with sceptisism here, while over at BS01, they're like "Hold the phone! Quit editing, this is a continuation!"
  18. Actually, if they do a soft reboot, this is possibly the best way to do it. No need to go through ten years of storyline: the Toa have forgotten it, and it can be revealed little by little as the Toa remember it, revealed at the end, or not at all. Eventually, though, there's bound to be some explanation for how the Toa got here, so they'd have to show the old storyline.
  19. The TTV message boards. They're posting everything they learned there, including a few things they didn't say on Twitter.
  20. Looks like it really is a soft reboot: Same Toa, different place.
  21. For anyone wondering, the Nuvaverse is what TTV is calling the new continuity. Well, if there will be more news in the coming days, my work here is far from over.
