I thoroughly enjoyed 2.0. I liked the look of the sets and the building system was neat! Sadly, 2.0 was the last time LEGO tried something new with HF. I wish that LEGO would dare be more experimental with HF and try out crazy, new building systems. But they're not doing that. As it stands HF has overall been a lackluster theme for LEGO.
Wow, thanks for the help! I was hoping to find a YouTube-clip of the show, but it seems that the link to the article on the German site has been removed. You gotta love that guy's early 2000's hair, though.
Hey there! (this is my first thread on here, woohoo!) I was looking at prototypes and I stumbled across this Akaku prototype. http://imgur.com/Lze1GSm Does anyone know the source? It looks like it could've been a video interview.
This saddens me greatly. It was such a big part of my childhood and now the site will soon be gone. Oh well, it wasn't gonna stay up forever but I'm impressed that Lego kept it up for such a long time after the cancellation. Kudos to you, Lego! R.I.P. Bionicle
As a kid, I loved the new Technic sets Lego came out with in the late 90's. I was into Slizers, Roboriders and the Dinosaur sets. My first memory of Bionicle was me sitting in my room staring at a Turgaga Matau box.
