Eh, I'm in general a very bookish and nerdy person. I like just about anything that is worthwhile. Books, video games, and the other stereotypical stuff, I guess. I'd rather you just asked me, haha.

  1. As a writer, I myself have often thought about Bionicle in my forethought when thinking about story arcs in general. The up and down years, which I believe it had, sadly, muddled this. I think the "Ignition" or Karda Nui years, were the climax of an epic story, that started with the Mata Nui arc. I honestly think that the emergency ending was what muddled it up a lot. Stories mature. They live and breathe through their readers. Tolkien didn't write LOTR the same way he wrote The Hobbit. He knew audiences grew. JK Rowling's Harry Potter series constantly evolved, book to book. And so did Bionicle....for a while. But the ups and downs weren't just in story quality, they were in consistency as well. Some years (In my opinion, Mahi and Mistika) were really, really, odd balls which contributed little to the stories, and almost nothing their predecessors couldn't have. One thing I loved was the deeper aspects of the lore could only be explored if you WANTED to explore them, via additional source materials and such. Let's not forget, Bionicle was originally just another toy, in a mega-company. The fact that it had ANY depth is amazing, especially THIS much.
  2. Let's see, back when I was younger, and Bionicle was THE THING, even then, I only knew two people that were into it. A friend of mine, who almost exclusively just read the comics, every other issue, and bought....uh.....one of them, and a cousin, who had an uncle, who loved them, and would habitually give him about five sets a year. So literally no-one I was in constant contact with. So I was mainly by myself, haha.
  3. Patron saint of "Read, not post" here. Two years a member, and made my first post yesterday.
  4. Mask of Creation or Mask of Psychometry, easily. Maybe the Mask of Mind-Control, but, the first two would be higher priorities.
  5. I wouldn't mind The Shadowed One and Velika having a large role. And, eventually, the Toa Mata's Turagaization.
  6. 0/5, obviously. I'm a returning lurker who made his first post ever today. Long time lurker at that, so I do actually recognize some people. .000000000000000000001 bitcoins to the person who can accurate prophesize how well known I am.
  7. I am not sure at this point, as we all are, really. But, I wouldn't mind it ending. At all. Mediocrity without aspiration doesn't bring improvement. It just makes things worse. I see it as a cash cow with good intentions. Never followed it after the first two issues or so, but, I'll admit, I bought one of the sets. Can't even remember what it was, however, haha.
  8. From a story aspect, I as an (amateur) writer, honestly think that Click (yes, I know this was a joke. But refuge in audacity is not a bad thing, if played right) and Vastus would be the best candidates. Click, who completely vanished into obscurity, after Teridax's death, had literally no real history, or legitimate details or personality. He was a cute little beetle who could transform into a really cool shield. And he saved Mata Nui's life, which was obviously in the best interest of all parties involved. Well, Velika's, atleast. The reasons for Vastus have already been mentioned, but it would make a classic twist on the story, of course. In addendum: After joining this forum two years ago, I can proudly say this is my first post. I'd forgotten my password, and soon thereafter, this website. YESTERDAY, after all this time, I finally remembered my password. And this website, of course. Still catching up, of course, but, that's natural.
