  1. Eh, a little bit. It had its run, which was obviously better than Bionicle G2, but at the same time there is something about it I do miss; probably the cleanliness in design and just the general aesthetic. I also do feel sorry for Hero Factory, though. It got bashed throughout most, if not all of its active run just for having to fill in the spot of Bionicle; a bit like how Paul Roberts' was criticized for filling in the spot of lead vocalist for The Stranglers after Hugh Cornwell left the group in 1990.
  2. I've been thinking of building the second generation version of Makuta at some point in the future. What are your opinions on the model? Whether you have built it or not, I would like some feedback. For those that have built it, is it worth the time and effort? How sturdy is it? Which 3D printed version of the Mask of Ultimate Power is of highest quality and best suited for the model? Also, are there any instructions out there that are step-by-step, similar to official ones by LEGO themselves? Any information and discussion regarding this model would be much appreciated.
  3. That makes a lot of sense and I can understand that. I have always seen my mother as "watery" because she is definitely a go with the flow person that adapts to peoples needs and situations quite seemingly easily and frequently. She is also nearly always calm and relaxed.
  4. I can't believe it! I really can't believe it. A measly 3 tickets and that is what I get. Wow, thank you so much @Waj for the mention and thank you Black Six, BZPower and the other people who have worked hard to keep this site going and providing the many bits of news to everyone else. I don't know if I'll bother going into another raffle. I think I'll give other people a better chance if I don't partake in future raffles. I don't think I deserve to be spoiled with other goodies. Don't lose hope if you really wanted this; just buying a ticket should be commended; you're helping out not just BZPower itself but also the people who are still here and other aspects of the Bionicle fandom. Whether it be 1 ticket or 20, every bit helps. I'm proud of everyone, and of course, now very grateful. I'll cherish this memory as long as I live.
  5. Oh, cool! An INFJ; they aren't so common. I've taken a few personality tests here and there, and I'm usually either INFJ or ISFJ. So, I guess I could be a blend of the two. Makes sense, at least for me, because before I even took those tests I wanted to work as a counselor. That, and I've been vulnerable and still am in the case of being a people-pleaser. As with the elements, although Ice is pretty much my favorite in regards to looks and power, Earth and Water are closely behind further followed by Light and Plantlife. As you can probably tell, those are all non-aggressive, at least when it comes to common archetypes relating to those elements, which makes sense because aside from the odd bit of frustration here and there in my life, I'm generally regarded as calm, reserved, placid and maybe a bit slow in speech and mannerisms. I can't exactly see myself as Psionics, either. It's matched with INFJ in the link Aderia provided, but some of the abilities that Toa of Psionics are capable of aren't so calming or pleasant. For example, inducing nightmares in beings that are already asleep, and mind control. But seeing as Toa are meant to be guardians and warriors, I shouldn't expect their set of abilities to completely lack defensive capabilities. Still, nightmares and calmness don't go together.
  6. Just curious as to what everyone's favorite Bionicle elemental powers are and what ones people identify with. There have been element polls before on BZPower, but I haven't seen any in a while and I thought it was time for a refresh. My favorite is probably Ice at the moment, followed closely by Earth and Water. But, I would say Earth best represents me and my personality at the moment.
  7. I'm fine with how things are in regards to the Toa Mata and the color of each of their respective Kaukau. To me, it would be strange to see most of their head areas be different colors to the rest of their bodies.
  8. Yeah, with this discovery it makes me wonder what could show up 5, 10 or maybe even 15 years down the line. Despite Bionicle being cancelled/ending twice, the community keeps finding things to talk about. Very impressive, really.
  9. Clever use of the Fangz head pieces and Stringer shoulder pieces. Also, I'm not exactly a fan of spiders, but this one sits well with me. Great job.
  10. I'm in a weird situation with this. I honestly don't know if I should fork out the money or skip it. Like, I love/despise Overwatch. I've been playing it on the Playstation 4 for about a year, now; And I appreciate it for the fun it offers but really dislike its lootbox system, and I just can't wrap my head around how there's now an official Lego Overwatch theme. It's just so weird how quickly LEGO's policies regarding violence and stuff has eased to the point that something like Overwatch can get a LEGO theme.
  11. Hmmm. I'll see if I can enter. Sounds like it could be fun. If I don't participate, I'll gladly watch, though. Wow, still handing out those NYCC Masks of Fire, eh? It's almost like they aren't that rare.
  12. I didn't even know "Old Fishing Store" was an actual set until you posted a picture of it here and I searched it on Brickset. On its own, it looks like a wonderful set. But... This lighting kit makes things even better. It's like a highlight with highlights.
  13. You're a lucky lad. I've been out of the loop with Bionicle for over a year, now, so I've forgotten which copper mask it was I have. I know I've got one of them, at least. Welcome to the club. The Copper Club.
  14. Having all of those locks around the entrance/s to the room full of old Bionicle stuff was a great idea, but I'm surprised to see that area right next to what looks like a public walkway of sorts. Well, at least those things are still there for giveaways. I like that stuff, but I'll watch other people enter this first giveaway; I've got enough Bionicle in my life. Anyway, it's good to see Faber stay active with his projects and engaging with Lego fans. We've got a nice treat here.
  15. Whoa! The use of the Shadow Trap pieces! Clever... And that mask... Looks pretty good. Likewise with Rassilon, my only complaint with it is the lower arms and elbows; a patch-up could work wonders. But, yeah. That's some good stuff. I like it!
  16. The bottom of the packaging says "collect all" instead of the more-usual "collect 'em all!" Sounds like a threat rather than just an advertising phrase.
  17. PRoJEkta (Paul Roberts and John Ellis) - Definitely Drowning.
  18. Gotta go with this. Yeah, same! That might be why he was left out of the show.
  19. "I wish I had an oxygen tank with me. It's the only way to survive down here." Gali
  20. I'd like for a G3 to have... -A new team of 6; 4 males, 2 females. -Different main elements; stuff like gravity, sonics, etc. -No gender fixed elements, also. -lots of masks! -more variety in environments; ocean floors, very deep caves, etc. -more female characters in general, really. -well developed, humanoid villains; skull spiders and shadow traps weren't the toughest villains.
  21. Political content and other inappropriate content removed. -B6
  22. Do NOT post political comments. -B6
  23. Yeah-nah, very wide masks wouldn't be good. I mean, why have a dust-collector when you can have a very-articulate figure with interchangeable parts?
  24. I've gotta say, if it comes back anytime soon, it'll probably get cancelled before it even has a chance of officially starting.
