  1. I'd like to pick up a copy of the Telltale game, it's apparently one of the best games of 2012. I've seen a few episodes of the show, and a few of my friends are pushing me to watch it, so I think I might watch the whole thing after I'm done with Sgt. Frog and TBBT.
  2. O_O That is beautiful. ....My precious. My precious! *Gollum voice*
  3. *dumps out parts into huge pile* *pays little brother a shiny quarter and some minifigures to play with to organize by color* *looks at box and challenges self to build without instructions* The third part is the most difficult, but it works fairly often. Unless it's Technic...then I end up being a large yellow blob of nothing.
  4. Oh, this is a while back.... (not much time for LEGO anymore ). Probably a Hero Factory set, one of the animal themed ones. It was cool. I could probably locate it if I wanted, and I think I bought it right after that wave was released.
  5. I believe Christine Lorentzen is still on maternity leave (or at least, was when that song was being recorded). Being a parent means that she will probably have much less time for the band, but she can't be faulted for that. In the meantime, it's not the first song she hasn't been a part of by any means-- Face Me and Gravity Hurts both featured different vocalists. Wasn't Gravity Hurts done by Phantoka? Or was that the name of the album? "Phantoka" was the name of the album if you downloaded it from LEGO.com. "Gravity Hurts" was sung by Niels Brinck, the same singer who performed "Face Me". Ah, yes. Derp.
  6. The Ninjago spinners weren't non-canon so much as they were a physical representation of the more abstract Spinjitzu. I feel the sets that represented this the best were the NRG Ninja spinners, with their transparent colors and elemental patterning. I thought of some ways that the spinners could be a little more canon, but they weren't very practical. One idea included slimming down a spinner and making a web-like spinner that had a color that corresponded to it's element that would be placed on the top of the spinner.
  7. 1. What country are you from?2. What languages do you speak?3. Can you easily buy Lego products in your country?4. Can you still find Bionicle/older Hero Factory sets in your shops?5. How long does it take for the latest Lego sets to reach stores?6. Do you buy Lego products in shops or online? Which is easier?7. Would you like to see more Lego products available in your country?9. Why do you think I missed out the number 8?10. Am I wasting my time, and does anyone remember me? 1: 'Murica 2: English, a bit of Korean, I can read Spanish, and my Latin is limited to about 15 words but I still know a little bit. 3: Yep! 4: Yep. 5: Not very long. 6: Online, because I don't have a LEGO store VERY close, but I can drive there if I can't find it online. 7: Nope. 9: Because your brain was addled by a nipsy attack? 10: No and no.
  8. One difference is that I love to lol at some old themes like Paradisa and Belville, and sometimes even the various gimmicks in Bionicle. Another difference is that I kind of want to get a web development job at LEGO, while Aanchir wants to get a set design job. Belville. Pfft. What do you mean by gimmicks? Squid launchers could be an example, and so could masks that would fall off if attacked. Yes, I knew that. But whatever...
  9. TCW's keeping registration closed until we have some more solid story information, since currently we have very little that amounts to more than rumors (and much of what we do have is translated from other languages, so there's the possibility of info getting lost in translation). But it shouldn't be too long now until we have some really reliable info... Actually my primary reason for keeping registration closed is so that all TNW users will be able to have simultaneous logins on both wikis, and when one registers on one site, it works on another, without having to register twice. We are hoping to have TCW open by around Christmas-time. The point about information being added is only a minor concern. We have a large staff team already, so moderation won't be as difficult as it was on The Ninjago Wiki. GLaD to be on it..... (yes I'll buy you Portal)
  10. A little bit of color similarity so it's hard to discern their differences, but still a very high quality MOC.
  11. I'll give an example of something that greatly deviated from the original story (although not because of inability to recreate the story in a movie, because the original was quite short): Horton Hears a Who. If the Bionicle movie was like that, I'd quite enjoy it. I'm going to say it would be a "not that great if you compare it to the original, but in it's own way, not compared to Bionicle, it's pretty decent."
  12. I have a set that looks very much like that. I'll have to get it out and tell you what it is. ^^
  13. Well, due to Bionicle being a /child's toy/, I don't think they'd have an actual "mask of death". They may have something that implies it, but they'd never have an actual mask of death.
  14. This, although it would be fairly expensive that way as well. IMO, CGI is the only good way to do it. I don't think Bionicle ever reached the kind of cultural saturation in its ten-year run that Transformers did over its 25-year run before the movie. With Transformers, almost every kid born in the past 30 or so years had at least been aware of Transformers in some way (even if only by seeing commercials for the toys on TV). Bionicle had less than half that time to be noticed, and now that it's ended awareness of the theme is going down, not up (Transformers, after all, never really "ended" completely). Plus, Transformers already had a number of aspects in common with traditional summer blockbuster movies: taking place in the real world, having human characters for audiences to relate to, featuring a disaster scenario in real world cities, having a simple to understand premise, etc. Compared to those, the mythology-heavy Bionicle storyline feels at best like Lord of the Rings (but with hardly a fraction of its cultural saturation), and at worst like poorly-performing fantasy films like The Dark Crystal. I quote enjoyed The Dark Crystal.

  16. Oh, I know you probably don't care about that anymore, but I've been thinking about it and I found something! http://www.xboxmb.com/forum/122-minecraft-pc/89198-dynamic-height-mod-256-2048-block-high-worlds.html The Dynamic Height mod (darn word filter).
  17. An apopalyptic lava filled hellish landscape that makes me think of death, Mustafar, and the inside of a pizza oven.
  18. You drive through my town often, or so you say, but never met ya. Unless I carjack everyone in town every time you're near my house.
  19. I had a few of those back in the day....they were useful for the little light that some of them had on their heads. And that's all. ._. Oh, and I found a ton of knockoffs.... xD I'd rather not share the rest so I don't spam the page, but I found many more.
