The tracker is correct. The store has them, however, they aren't on the shelves yet. Here's why: the store has scanned the barcodes into the system, but the store is honoring the release date of January 1st. Unfortunately, I live in a city where all the stores honor the release date so nothing here will be out for a few more days. This is correct. If they're listed as in stock but not on the shelves, your best bet is to talk to an employee and ask if they're out back, and if they could retrieve some for you. Worst case scenario is they tell you no, and you know to check back later. I've used the DPCI system for NERF blasters before. It's wonderful. I did ask an employee. She said there wasn't any 'in stock' while she was putting clearance Chima sets on the shelves. Appears it might've been just your luck. I was able to find every single set by using the tracker. I went to three different Targets and asked employees who were in the toy section if they could check a set using a DCPI code. In one go I got all the Protectors and Lewa and Tahu. The employee was kind enough to bring them out to me in their LEGO shipping boxes and opened them with a knife in front of me. Then at another Target I was able to use the "inventory checker" to locate Pohatu and LOSS (sadly no Kopaka, Gali or Onua). Then the same thing basically happened. Over at the third Target the exact same thing happened for me and I managed to get Kopaka. Luckily there was a ToysRUs next to the Target so I also managed to find Onua and Gali and boom. Complete! What will you do for the next year? Probably buy more of the same sets. Or possibly save up for the summer wave?
