  1. I think it's due to the fact that both Ekimu & Makuta are high-ranking/legendary figures on Okoto. It hasn't been revealed yet as to who created their masks, or if they made said masks themselves.
  2. They're probably put out polybags that contain a different color/build of Skull Spider, in the first year.
  3. I do understand that people have their own building styles and judging methods and I'm not saying your creation is just plain bad. It's very good actually, it's incredibly impressive and cool, but here's the problem: that's not what the judges said they would be basing the winner on. To quote: While your creation is very cool, it's not very creative, original, unique or creatively built. You've perfected the basic makuta design, but that's what they were claiming not to be looking for. That's precisely why many people, myself included, didn't just try and make the biggest movie-styled makuta we could; because the judges led us to believe that it would be a poor decision, as it only satisfies 1/5 of the categories. Look, I'm not saying you've done anything wrong, the blame lies entirely on the judges. Your creation, while amazing, simply didn't satisfy the desired traits, and that's why I don't think you should have won. If B6 said "Just build the most awesome bionicle you can, and we'll judge it by the rule of cool", I would have been completely okay with you winning. but he didn't, so I'm not. And yes, I do believe it to be suspicious that you're ex-staff. Combined with my above comments that you didn't satisfy the desired traits and the fact that second place was literally paying the site, it makes me feel as if there's a bit of favouritism going on here. Like I said, I'm not blaming you, but like it or not, you're involved in a competition that I don't think was judged fairly. Oh, and thank you for that comment on how you should express your true opinion on something; Too many people on this site think that saying any moc isn't perfect is a cardinal sin. ...What are you implying here? Greed, my friend. Greed.
  4. Dang, these are pretty good looking bootleg's. It almost makes me wanna buy a couple for the pieces alone. Speaking of which, I wonder how many people were fooled/scammed into think those Gelu blades were misprints?
  5. Is that really what it says? Since when do x-rays help you see in the dark? Because what is darkness? Absence of light/color. X-Ray's can 'illuminate' solid objects even in total darkness. There's no natural light inside of my body, but an X-Ray can still see my bones. My hand went strait through my face and into the moon. Objects seen by anyone with X-ray vision appear to 'glow' to them, but not anyone else obvi.
  6. lol, this if getting good. Tbh, who didn't expect people to be upset about the judge's decisions? A 24k GOLD mask was one a the line. And ya'll know what gold does to people.
  7. Really bored. Hopefully Bionicle comes early to SLC.

  8. You mean those Velcro, folding, mask holder's? I got one of 'em. Though, some of the pouches are torn via trying to fit in 2006+ masks.
  9. I'm jealous, I really miss my Hewkii Mahri. I should start scouting out garage sales. Hah me too! Were any of them really interesting? Well, here's what I found: 2 gold/clear Bohrok eyes, and a set Inika Jaller thighs/legs that seemed to be injected with a swirly black pattern.
  10. Yeah, LoSS was sighted at a Target in California. Haha California is not in the mid-west! I'm talking about Chicago and the like. Oh, duh! I just seen 'West'. My mistake.
  11. Yeah, LoSS was sighted at a Target in California.

  13. I don't remember if I posted about this or not here, but I found a few misprint pieces in my giant bin of Bionicle parts I didn't even know I had until a few weeks ago.
  14. Congrats on the winners! Those are some pretty epic MOCs! Though, I/some people were right that the most complex models would be picked. [not at all bitter ] Hopefully the next contests involve creative writing, instead of building ahaha.
  15. Prepare yourself, the fanfics are coming.
