We all know how Mata Nui was dying and the Toa Mahri saved his life. The reason we are most commonly given is that his coma led to him almost dying. This would make sense, as normal people commonly die after being in a coma for too long. However, I think there is an alternative reason why. Metru Nui is the most vital spot in the MU. Without people working in the MU, Mata Nui will die. The Toa Metru evacuated the Metru Nui Matoran to the island of Mata Nui outside of the MU because of the damage the Visorak left behind. They lived for a millenia on Mata Nui and when they return to Metru Nui, they find out that Mata Nui is dying. I think Mata Nui was dying because the Metru Nui citizens evacuated Metru Nui, and no one was working there. With no one working in the most vital spot of the MU, Mata Nui started to die. Feel free to edit my theory and note my mistakes. Thank you.

I like all of the waves from 2006 to 2009 since i had all of the canister sets from those years (except for Krika), I do think the Glatorian lines should have been one single line. Also, Mata Nui is my favorite set and the only one I still own. I never got to play with older sets, however but I'm confident that they were great. I'm trying to get the Toa Nuva, and some 2003 titans, along with maybe some other sets. I think I'll love the Toa Nuva as much as the others. My point is, I can't decide on a favorite (I have ones I like less but no single favorite). They are all great.

There are too many best masks. Some of my favorites are the original six masks, the Toa Metru masks, Kakama Nuva, Akaku Nuva, Faxon, Tryna, Toa Phantoka masks, Hau Mistika, Pakari Mistika, Ignika, Avohkii, Gresh helmet, Ackar helmet, Strakk helmet, Hydraxon helmet, and a bunch of others My least favorites include the 2001 Turaga masks, Hau Nuva, Calix, Elda, Zaath, Kaukau Mistika, Noble Jutlin, Noble Avsa, Skrall helmet, Malum helmet, Atakus helmet, and maybe a few more. On a side note, was the Olmak inspired by the face of Avak prototype? they look very similar.

The only one I still have is Mata Nui but it's him definitely.

There are some really great ones, like Mata Nui's sword (I made it in silver and put it on the canister set instead of his Thornax launcher), Hewkii Mahri's Aqua Warblade, Phantoka Lewa's Air Saber, Piraka weapons, Inika weapons, Onewa's Proto Pitons, Matau's Aero Slicers, etc. Best launchers IMO were Midak Skyblaster, Tridax Pod, and Thornax Launcher.

The only problem is that why would TSO select Zaktan to be a Dark Hunter? All of the other piraka have legitimate reasons why they would be selected. The part about his special power being unable to die could fit in some gaps. We never learned what his third power was.

I would think so. I'd also assume that the Toa Metru have the default Toa armor because all of the others that had different armor were formed unnaturally.

I've posted this once before but not on BZP. We know that Zaktan didn't get killed when The Shadowed One blasted him with his eyebeams. In a recent Ask Greg, he said that was probably because he was mutated. We also that Zaktan was a slave at a protodermis mine before he was a Dark Hunter, and protodermis can transform a person. My theory is this: What if, on the day that TSO came to that mine, there was a freak accident at the mine, and Zaktan got hit with protodermis? The protodermis would have changed his molecular level rather than his armor (I don't know if protodermis could do this, but I see no reason why it couldn't). This would explain why TSO chose Zaktan to join the Dark Hunters, because TSO knows that protodermis would make him stronger and a valuable hunter. How does the fanbase feel about this theory? Do you agree with it?

This will be hard Mata Nui - He is the central character. I also enjoyed the fact that his lack of caring for the matoran led to his downfall and how he fixed his mistakes. He also had one of the coolest sets Takua/Takanuva - The lost wanderer who becomes a great hero. Mostly everyone has said why. I'll just add that, as an outcast in my school, he's one of the characters I relate to the most Toa Nuva - I can't divide this group. They are all great in their own way. My favorites are Pohatu, Onua, and Kopaka for having interesting characters and being awesome. Teridax - For once the bad guy wins... for a little bit. A brilliant schemer who made his plan seem like one thing when it was something else. Piraka - Once again all of them are interesting. Zaktan is a brilliant insane leader, Hakann and Thok are manipulative, Reidak is a fighter who likes to hide his intelligence, Avak is a rebellious punk, and Vezok is a brilliant plotter gone insane (he definately has PTSD) To be honest, I can't think of many more. sorry.
