  1. Remember that this Toa Team was formed to fight the Kanohi Dragon, a large, fire breathing Rahi. From BS01: There are four Toa of Ice and two Toa of Water on this team. That's a lot of ice that's going to be melted by the dragon, in addition to the Water from Tuyet and Naho. Now, does a Kaukau really seem that useless...
  2. Remember that there should be an infinite number of Toa Empires, each with a slight (or perhaps major) difference. We don't have to go back to that one.
  3. 1. No 2. Yes 3. Yes !? Obviously, these are contradictory answers. I voted yes to three to record that I want The Shadowed One and Ancient to be of the same species. So, to clarify, I want two species: 1. The Shadowed One, Ancient, and Tyrant 2. Conjurer Conjurer just doesn't seem to fit with the others.
  4. The reason Antroz and co. thought they were being sent to the Core was to turn all the Av-Matoran into Shadow Matoran, therefore preventing any more Toa of Light from being created. I only just now realized the entire thing was a ploy to get them in the Core at the right time. I think he legitimately wanted the the Av-Matoran converted into Shadow Matoran. The fact that he sent the Makuta who were potential threats on that mission knowing they would die was an added bonus. He probably would have used Great Spirit powers to eliminate them afterwards if the energy storms weren't a thing.
  5. I'll wait a bit before I decide what I want to see in G2. As for G1, I really want to see what Galva was up to during Makuta's reign over the universe.
  6. I went to go double check this and you're right, Artahka sent all the necessary kanohi to Mata Nui. Can I have the topic closed now? WAIT Artakha was only involved in scattering the Kanohi Nuva (2003). The Great and Noble Kanohi from 2001 had a different story. The Great and Noble Kanohi were originally found in the Great Temple in Metru Nui. They were brought to the island by the Toa Metru. They hid the Great Kanohi as a test to make sure that whatever Toa arrived were not secretly servants of Makuta, and kept the noble masks for their own use after transforming. During the Dark Time, Teridax's Rahi stole the Noble Kanohi and hid those as well. As stated earlier, the Great Kanohi were fused into the Golden Masks and transformed into Kanohi Nuva. The other thirty Kanohi Nuva were sent by Artakha.
  7. At first, I was worried that it might just be a compilation of the web videos, but then I realized that re-releasing free content on a paid platform would be an idiotic business decision. Hopefully, Lego understands that as well.
  8. I would be working for Helryx as a member of the Order of Mata Nui, trying to convince her to take action against Tuyet.
  9. We were told that there were three years of story planned at the very beginning of the new series. We know that there are three "legendary" masks: the Masks of Creation, Control, and Ultimate Power. Given that this year's story focuses on the Mask of Creation, it does not seem to be too much of a stretch that the other two planned years will focus on the other two masks. So what does this mean for Makuta? Well, as others have said, he seems to have been possessed by the Mask of Ultimate Power before it was removed. I think he will be the villain of the year that focuses on the Mask of Control (which will probably be 2016), and that a sentient Mask of Ultimate Power will be the final villain of 2017 (and thus the true villain of the three pre-planned years of the new Bionicle). Will Makuta be redeemed for the final year? I hope so, but I would not be surprised if they left him as a villain.
  10. So, in the alternative universe, "Velika" never toke the "real Velika's" body? Right. He took someone else's. Make of that what you will. Someone on Takanuva's ruling council? Nektann, maybe? You wouldn't think a Skakdi would be one to join a ruling council of noble leaders. Probably not worth asking Greg about any further, he probably never took the time for small details like that on alternate universes. If it's someone from the Council, then probably the the Nynrah Ghost. It would allow him to do the jobs that he enjoys, and explain why that particular otherwise uninteresting Matoran was on the council.
  11. Matoran minds hold (at least part of) what makes them eligible to become Toa, so Velika cannot transform. Wait, wait, hang on a second... What did you say?.... But in The Kingdom alternate universe, he was a Toa... "His destiny achieved, Takanuva had sacrificed his power to bring a new generation of Toa into being. These included Toa Kapura, Toa Balta, Toa Dalu, Toa Velika, Toa Defilak, and a new Toa of Light, Tanma." Right. But where in that story does it state that is Velika the Great Being? As I recall, that was Matoran Velika, not Velika with a Great Being inside. Can you explain why Velika can't become a toa? As I understand it, he's quite matoran, except for his mind, so what bars him from becoming a toa? He's a Matoran physically, but not mentally. He does not have Matoran AI, and what's buried in the AI plays a part in whether you are destined to be a Toa or not. So a Matoran who is not really a Matoran is not going to become a Toa. That clears that up. Do you think that Velika not being a Great Being somehow played a part in Matoro's failure? EDIT: Then this happened So, in the alternative universe, "Velika" never toke the "real Velika's" body? Right. He took someone else's.Make of that what you will.
  12. Uhh, no. Speaking from experience, you should always keep both eyes open while using your gun/bow/Midak Skyblaster. Most classes teach that you should try to keep both eyes open but only look through one of them and ignore the information coming from the other eye. Also, in most humans (and possibly Toa), one eye is more dominant than the other and should be the one that you shoot with. It is possible that Kopaka (and possible all Toa) do not have a dominant eye.
  13. top predator? don't, like, doom-vipers or visorak or something else horrid Chirox made eat those though? there are a lot of rahi that are kinda "tied" for top predator slot in this theoretical food chain. :0 I don't think that the Visorak can really be considered part of the food chain given that not only do they not exist in the wild, only; they don't eat other Rahi, but instead absorb energy from colony drones. Besides the Zivon preys on the Visorak, so they aren't really the top dogs (or spiders). As for the doom viper, I really don't know.
  14. Why antidermis? The only known things made of antidermis are Makuta, Kraata, and (maybe) Rahkshi. Rahi are made of antidermis. Huh? BS01's Rahi page: And later BS01 has had errors before, so if you have a source for Antidermis Rahi, please share it.
