  1. You know RedQuark? I've been trying to find either him or DeepBrick ever since the alpha of LoMN leaked. DeepBrick never leaked the beta copy he had because LEGO threatened litigious action... but now that an earlier version has leaked and we know they don't actually care, I bet he'd be willing to release his copy.
  2. There are a bunch of people in the Beaverhouse Discord working on carving some of the bugs out and making the game work a little better. They've released a couple patches already!
  3. The textures for this mural, along with a couple others, can be found in the game's level files. Here they are in the order they appear: HAVE CAUTION WHEN WALKINGYOUR FIRST STEP COULD BEYOUR LASTFROM ABOVE WILL COME FALLINGCRUMBLINGFLYING TUMBLING FASTTO YOUR ENDYOULL FIND YOURSELFIF WITH CARE YOUDO NOT STEPTHROUGH THEFLOOR YOULL DISAPPEARAND IN THE GROUND YOUWILL BE KEPT THEY WILL ARISEOUT OF THEIR SLEEPAND FUFILL THEIRMISSION THEY WILLCOME AND PURGE OURWORLD OF THEDARKNESS THAT HASINFESTED IT THEREWILL BE MANY ???TSAND OBSTACLES ONTHEIR WAY BUT THEYSHALL WAKE HIM IT ISWRITTENTHE TOASHALLRETURNAND BRINGPEACE ??OUNITY
  4. It's unlikely that a fan could finish the game, as we obviously don't know what the developers planned to put in the empty chunks... but it's possible that a fan could make what's there run a little better. I've been poking around the game's files for a while now, as I intend to do just that (I have experience with this kinda thing). It's not gonna be an easy project, though. Most decompilers spit out complete gibberish when you try to load the files, since they're generally designed with only one language in mind... and there's virtually no information on Saffire's game development pipeline online.
  5. I'm assuming this guy isn't willing to release it either?
  6. My least favorite retcon was the sudden insistence in 2008 that everything from the Toa Mata arriving to Mata Nui being awakened happened within the span of a single year. It wouldn't bother me as much if it wasn't actually a retcon, but according to Makuta's narration in one of the Bohrok-era comics, the Toa Mata/Nuva spent at least two years on Mata Nui. I don't think there are any that I actually like...
  7. Does anyone have a copy (ideally in good condition, but I'll take anything for a reasonable price) of the McDonald's promotional comic "Challenge of the Rahi" that they'd be willing to sell to me? The only copies available on BrickLink are sold out of a Russian shop with a $26.01 minimum buy - while the copies themselves are only $2.37.
  8. I always felt really bad for Krika. He only went along with Teridax's plan because he knew he would die if he didn't, but he tried to be a good guy when he knew he could get away with it. He let Miserix live when Teridax wanted him assassinated, for example, and he tried to save the other Karda Nui Makuta from being killed by the Energy Storms. All he got for doing so, though, was the most horrifying death in the entire BIONICLE canon.
  9. Having just watched the ending of The Journey to One, I've gotta say the future of BIONICLE is looking... grim. Does anyone else who has finished the series feel the same way?
  10. My goal is to get everything - retail sets, polybags, and collectibles. I'd be succeeding, too, if it weren't for that special trans Mask of Water.
  11. I really like the animation. It's certainly a lot better than what we got last year. If the writing is good, I think I'll really enjoy this series.
  12. There's no doubt that there are big secrets in G2 we haven't learned yet, but nothing on the same scale as the Great Spirit Robot. The story was only designed to last three years. If BIONICLE does well and LEGO chooses to continue the theme, I'm sure that's when they'll develop a new GSR-scale story element.
  13. Has anyone noticed how far back Ekimu's arms are relative to his neck? It's even worse than the gap on the 2015 Toa. At least they all had nice-looking shoulder builds. I still like the set more than I do the other four, but... it's just hard not to focus on those shoulders.
  14. The Mask of Time has a much more substantial connection to the Toa than just summoning them. Ekimu is probably more villainous than he seems. Skull Slicer was a Toa when he was alive. Civilization on Okoto is actually winding down, and was once much more advanced, and more saturated with Toa. Toas' elemental powers were once innate, allowing them to wear masks with other powers.
  15. Wait, so the "special" mask set to come with the activity book is... the same gold and blue mask we've already got? What a letdown.
