The SP//DR suit is a specialized agile mechanical suit used by Peni Parker in Earth-14512, appearing in the Spiderman "Edge of Spider-Verse" comic series, taking clear inspiration from Evangelion.
As soon as I saw it the first time I felt like it had to be done in bricks - I wanted a balance between size/scale and detailing.

I definitely prefer your hammer design, but I'm not too sure about everything else I'm afraid. The shoulderpads are looking tiny compared to how they look on him in the game and other reference material.
I think that's just perspective. Looking closely, they seem to be the exact same piece.
What I was referring to was the scale of the shoulders - upper arms - forearms, compared to everything else.
Look at the reference images here. You can see that the bulk of the upper arms is relatively small and narrow compared to the shoulder pads. Excessively bulking up the biceps does not preserve that shaping and consequently messes up with the proportions of the arms in general. If the character proportions were to be preserved, firstly compared to those of a minifig and then to those of Reinhardt compared to the standard minifig, you'll find that you would need to shorten Reinhardt a fair bit to get them to work.
Thanks for the feedback - my main priority when I was re-building it was to go more over details than scale/proportions, since it's the main thing the official set lacks.
I see what you mean for the biceps - I think I slightly got carried away in terms of bulk. I'm gonna try and see how they look when flatter.

Simply put, it started when I got the Rein&Dva set - Dva was spot on, but I was slightly disappointed with my favourite German crusader (he's one of the characters I play the most in OW). So I decided to give him a much more poseable and accurate look, as well as a better hammer.
And a sneak peek of some other MOC/MODs I've been working on.

Cool! (thumbs up) Anyway, do any of you guys feel like that collecting Infinity Stones is like collecting Kanohi masks from Bionicle? Just saying.
Well, there's quite a difference between 6 small stones and a wide variety of masks.
Although that sounds like a good idea for a MOC: a CCBS Infinity Gauntlet with Masks instead of stones.
, have each Master/Uniter mask in place of each stone.

Really like that build.
Dude, that is amazing. Totally fits the motif you were going for while still being recognizable.
I like how you've mixed the horns and mask together, the armour you've added is pretty neat as well. You've worked the oriental style in well.
Thanks for the comments!

After being defeated by Ekimu & the Toa in his Behemoth form, Makuta decided to re-build himself with his remaining shadow powers into more agile and swift form.
Equipped with 2 Katanas and Kusarigama (sickle and chain), he is still set on his destiny of taking revenge on his brother and rule over Okoto.
Credit to [Chro] for the hand building technique.

Pretty cool, torso feels a bit thin but otherwise great. Weapons look pretty good too. Not sure I like the way the colours have been distributed though, the way the trans orange is divided about feels wrong.
Thanks!
I wanted to make it look like the Trans. Orange represents his fire powers, hence why it's been used on his lower legs, weapons and hands; the mask was purely because I couldn't unsee him as Tahu with a normal Red or Gold mask.
-
Torso feels a little too long, and he looks like he needs more gold distributed around is body. The black is a bit boring. The grey and purple are also underrepresented and should be a bit more prominent. Besides his colour scheme though he is a pretty cool build.
I do understand the issues with the colour scheme, as they were added at a late stage (Initially he was just black and Gunmetal), and I was lacking purple CCBS shells at the time;
The torso issue started only because I wanted him to have a different torso/hip build than the others, and also because I wanted to make him look like the tallest and the strongest out of the 6 Guardians.
I feel that the torso fits quite well! I like seeing the chest armor used in a way that you see most of its shape, and think that it really drives the "brute force" theme with the chunky shape.
Thanks!

Ohhhh, a Nexo Knights Moc. Cool. The system and CCBS have been blended well, but I feel like this build needs a seat for the minifigures to ride on it.
Thanks!
I actually found out that Tachikomas include a seat only after I completed the MOC; even then, I couldn't even think of where to put a seat on it because I was very keen on using the new Nexo shield piece at the back of the body.
The only Ghost in the Shell material I'm familiar with is the 90s movie and its sequel (and I guess The Matrix, if you wanna go that route), but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good MoC when I see it. Nice.
Thanks!

Nice model. The CCBS fists sticking out of the back legs look a little out-of-place, but other than that it's a great blend of System and CCBS. Good luck in the contest.
Thanks!
I wanted to find a way to use those Tr. Reddish Orange fists to "bulk up" the back legs.
The main reason it's a blend of CCBS and System was because the initial idea came when I modified Axl and Clay's Battle suits to use only Mixel joints;
I was left with 4 of the back arm construction (The one that connects the arms to the CCBS fist), so I started looking for ideas on how I could implement that into a system creation, and then I remembered there was Marchikoma (which is not a contest, BTW), and that's when I came up with the Nexo-Koma concept.

(just FYI, kahi is the name of a certain bionicle fan.)
Originally he was going to be named Firan, but, considering how uninspiring that sounded, I decided to translate "Fire" into various languages;
The one that stuck me out the most was the Maori translation: Ahi.
I'll admit that the K was added randomly, and that I did not know about it being the name of a Bionicle fan.
i definitely think the dark red adds to the look of tahu!
i'm not sure if it's your intention but all of these guardian builds are similar enough to the toa that i find it hard to consider them their own characters
(just FYI, kahi is the name of a certain bionicle fan.)
it's also a relatively generic combination of syllables
It's not the first time that I've gotten similar comments about them being separate from the Toa.
I wanted them to look different, but at the same time keep some similarities to the Masters (the idea was that the Guardians were ancient warriors of Okoto, predecessors to the Toa).
Still, thanks for the comment!

A Scouting unit made for expanding Knighton's territory. Can also be used for colony patrol & defense.
This might seem a bit late, as this was my entry for Marchikoma, but I figured I'd post it here anyways.

Equipped with twin flaming blades, which can also function as wings, Kahi is prepared to defend his home island of Okoto.
After 2 years... The Guardians are done:
And for last, have a teaser for a future MOC.

The main brute force of the team. His main weapon is a pair of gauntlets forged by both the Mask Maker brothers themselves, using the strongest metal taken from the depths of the Earth region mines.Comments and Criticism are welcome!

I like the concept but there are some execution problems such as the wide rib cage and lack of Trans Green.
Over all it is still a nice MOC.
I like what you were going for with the rib cage, but I feel like it's a tad too wide. He also needs more trans green.
I did actually try to avoid using as much tr. green as possible because I thought it'd be a bit too clashing, and the ribcage connection is the smallest type I could have done (#3 angled connector with #5 connectors to the side), any shorter than that and it would have touched the body and possibly blocked the upper body movement, considering the base build is similar to Maxilos'.
Still, thanks for the comments & criticism!

Another great entry. I didn't know the beast heads were compatible with the Mask of Control...heck, I don't know anything about them, whatever.
Claws are amazing and so are those reallt bulky feet. I'm kind of iffy about the trans purple ribcage piece on the sides of forearms and thighs. They look strange. A top quality MOC nevertheless.
Thanks!
The reason I wanted to use the ribcages was for both covering the sides and adding decoration to the front, otherwise the black torso plates might have looked a bit too bland by themselves.

After the Toa banished Makuta to the Shadow Realm, he regained his original Mask of Control, but the Mask of Ultimate Power was trapped between dimensions.
His hate and shadow essence gained immense strength, and thus he managed to create a new body for himself out of pure shadow, inspired by the legend of “Teridax”, the Okotoan God of Shadows.
He now possesses a bigger shadow version of his hammer from the Mask Maker times and the ability to unleash a “beast form” that allows him to fly and summon shadow rays from his body.
Makuta waits for the moment a portal to Okoto would open so that he could gain the Mask of Ultimate Power, destroy his brother Ekimu and the Toa, and unleash an Era of darkness on the World.
The main 2 guys for inspiration were G1 movie teridax and TF: Prime Megatron.

Before Umarak even existed, Umarakus was the Mask of Shadows' physical form.
For long he hid deep within the forests of Okoto, surviving by hunting villagers with his skills and varied arsenal.
He set his sights on the Guardians, thinking they know the source of Ultimate power to control the elements, and rule over Okoto.

We can only hope.
After the ending of Journey To One...
I'm not even sure if we'll need that.

Oh boy.
Oh boy.
Hype.
Umarak clearly isn't holding the MoUP in that shot. Is that some new Mcguffin? A key, maybe? Power-source for portal?
looks like some kind of pedestal IMO.

Ugh. most of the projects are big models (Nautilus, Toyota, Beagle, Saturn, Concorde, Victorian Xmas), not really mainstream/ not enough fans (Beatles) and obscure/ not really well known themes (National Park Service). I'm not sure about the JP explorer because:
1. LEGO could be currently working on a JP set line and could cancel it;
2. LEGO has already the JW/JP licence and could still cancel it (See previous licensed projects)
I don't think any of these will pass.
About the 2nd review:
Big models (Library, I-Rex, Marshmallow man, Rivendell, Lothloriel), not mainstream enough/ not enough fans (Petit Prince), obscure/ not really well known themes (Caterham Super Seven, Lothloriel, maybe kids of today don't know exactly what is Le Petit Prince).
Again, not sure about AT, but I can definitely see LEGO Physics passing it.
It seems creative enough and kids can learn from it, so it might be something a parent would buy for his kid.

The way I understood the info, is that Lego does not want anything anymore with CCBS because of environmental costs (kinda weird considering how much plastic those big DUPLO bricks need), and that he wanted to pitch AR/VR tech into it for a more story-focused approach.
As I mentioned in another Discord server, I immediately thought of the recent new bioplastics they introduced in their plant parts; it sounds like an opportunity for LEGO to pioneer and master this new material with a G3/new constraction line - in a way it reminds me of how Valve pushes new tech to its limits when they make a new HL game (recent example: Half Life Alyx & VR).
I'm into this with no expectation at all, and I'm willing to wait as much as it's needed - he's the mastermind behind Bionicle's original concept, and whether it's a continuation or a brand new concept, I have no doubt he has not lost his touch 20 years later.
