Stopped by the local Toys R Us today. To my surprise, the retailer had ALL of the new Bionicle sets in stock, and it was quite a feat to defy my coercive disposition for purchasing the whole lot. I resolved to settle for a Protector of Fire and abate my purchase of the rest, believing it best to savor my expenditures on sets one solitary kit at a time.

I acquired the Protectors of Ice and Earth at my local Target this morning; the aisle had a fairly substantial variety to compliment its quantity, including Masters Tahu and Kopaka, and the additional Protectors of Fire and Water. There seemed to be rows of nearly a dozen for each set. I had already purchased Master Tahu prior to this occasion via Walmart.com. In concurrence with the other inquisitors, I most certainly agree that Target is the prime candidate for finding the new sets.

In the past two months, I have begun purchasing LEGO Bionicle chapter books at the local thrift stores and used book stores, so far collecting eight of the ten books in the Adventures series. If you have many in your area, it is certainly an avenue worth investigation.
