  1. Maybe they didn't go back in the first place to be hidden from threats such as the Dark Hunters, or other things akin to the visorak which they thought might be out there

  3. So "Genwunner" is now and thing in bionicle too? Anyway, I think it is the most non-regulated, most skipped over comment section, making it an easy place for people to do that From what I can tell, it's a term that people adopted from the Transformers fandom (Transformers G1), which fits since now Bionicle is on its second iteration.Wasn't it from Pokémon first? Apparently, "genwun" is the Pokémon term while "geewun" is the Transformers term. It seems to have originated with Transformers, though.Interesting, thanks

  5. ??????????? Lol! Anyway I chose the Skyblaster. I liked how far it could shoot and how much amo it could hold, as well as the good looking recolours of the amo. Bit big though....

  7. Gali, is that all you can come up with? Ohhhhhhh! Ohhhhhh! Burn, burn, like Tahu, burn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. My god, can you imagine the glorious Dark Blue shells on a Brutaka-inspired character? Yessssssss! I want a Brutaka like character, I hope he is a good guy though :/

  10. A) Yes, more evidence includes a dark hunter who became one to find his love and Samand says that there is a woman he loved who died. B) NO! Makuta teleported her away! She had a whole Toa Haga revival and Federation of Fear thing. C) I'm not sure what you mean..... Helryx was the first, is that what you said? No, no, no, you misunderstand. The things I listed are the misconceptions - the comments in parentheses are why they're wrong. A) No, there isn't romance in Bionicle - at least in the Matoran Universe. There is on Bara Magna (hence the Sahmad thing), and that Dark Hunter was looking for his best friend, not the love of his life. (By the way, ~T1S~, I never once thought that Agori/Glatorian did not love; I just wasn't thinking when I initially typed that. As you say, there is no romance in the Matoran Universe, but there is on Bara Magna, Bota Magna, Spherus Magna, etc.) B) Again, you just misunderstood what I was saying. It's an easy misconception to have if you've never read the serials. C) Helryx was first, followed by others, and in terms of storyline significance the Toa Mata were right near the end (even though they were created hundreds of thousands of years earlier). Sorry, confused about what you said, thanks
  11. Since New Zealand and Austraila prices are the same (I think) I'm pretty sure the protectors are $20, smaller toa and lord of skull spiders are $25 and $40 for the larger toa. Comparing to hero factory prices us vs nz this is the conclusion
  12. His noble looks like the great in the sets but it still looks different from Jaller's. I just don't think they put that much thought into it
  13. Their language was forbidden in schools? So what did they use? Oh let me guess OURS! They wonder why their language needs 'saving from extinction'? Maybe because not only do they not teach it in schools but they punish the mere use of it with beatings! What did they expect to happen? It's like a certain Pharoah killing all the newborn boys and then years later wondering why the population is dwindling... I would also like to point out (for the record) my ancestors have never slaughtered anyone. Not recently anyway... And so now all of a sudden the language that they were forbidden to even speak is 'precious' to them and central to their culture. It's so special to them that they're STILL forbidding others to use it! Show me one instance where the language has been mocked and demeaned by Bionicle fans or Lego. As opposed to given new life and put on the global stage... And I fail to see how role-playing and Lego make people 'pathetic' too. I'd suggest more pathetic are those who smother their own culture so close to death it's almost lost to them forever, and then after years spent trying to resuscitate it, grab another pillow... No offence btw First off, the beatings were long ago and made by Pakeha (word for a not Maori New Zealand citizen, generally European). They are not forbidding others to use it, there is Maori language everywhere in New Zealand, they simply don't want their language to be used in the wrong way. Lego was not forbidden, they were simply told to use it in a good fashion, which Lego did and since many were already fine they kept them. In New Zealand we are taught a fair amount of Maori and a lot of their history, after many protests calling for it. In regard to giving them 'new life', the langue has a life. They didn't kill it, the Maori did excellent work to save it. "No offence btw <_<"?! Seriously!? You said really offensive things and just think that no offence will make a diffece?!
  14. Matoran: I'm big strong and cool! Some pods and a ridiculous reason for sets later. Matoran: I can't remember a thing Why on earth should 'Tohunga' be censored? There's nothing inherently offensive about the word. Its only distinctive feature is that it belongs to a non-European language. As for TLG's stance, that is simply to not use 'Tohunga' in official media. BZPower don't make or release official media, therefore I don't see why anyone on here shouldn't use the word. Yes you can say that, yes you can do what you want. I personally wouldn't out of simple respect
  15. Not in the alternate universe that was shown, Matoro even redeemed himself
  16. *vain Not really. If it wasn't for Matoro, Mata Nui would have never lived, and nobody other than him could have killed Teridax and reformed Spherus Magna. Well almost everyone would be better off without it
  17. ...? What do you mean? To be popular, it just has to be popular. It just means people like the set. They don't even have to own something to like it. Besides, it was just a store exclusive-one of quite a lot throughout Bionicle's history. To not count all those store exclusives would be silly.Lhikan is a limited edition SET. LIMITED meaning not everyone can/could obtain it. And as for the most popular SET it should have been one of the standard sets that could be obtained by your normal kid. It doesn't make sense that it's on here because it can NOT be the most poluar set. I don't care if you wish you had it, or if you like it, you have to vote for the SET which is most popular. And that was Tahu Mata, hands down it wasn't even a question. Everyone knows Tahu is the most popular set (factually) and that of one of the most purchased and owned. This poll needs to be changed to not include sets of limited value. No accutally, it's called the Quest For The Most Popular Set, meaning that we are looking to find it. In the actual question it asks what is your favourite, not which one you think is most popular. That is why I set up this poll to find it (at least in the BZPower community).
