  1. I would have to say a pre-mutation karzahni. The olisi is one of the coolest masks and it bums me out that we never got a physical copy of that mask. He was also a pretty key character for that year and I think a set for him could have been justified. He would have been such an awesome Titan. His 2007 incarnation is cool, but it is a little weird and I think the actual olisi would have made it look soooo much better, even if the rest of the set wasn't really changed much. I also would have loved to see the other 4 toa hagah, but that wouldn't have made much sense unless they did an even further back flashback year that fully told their story.
  2. Yeah it definitely is weird now that I think about it.
  3. went with mordagogg but scavenge and xerneas are also quite wonderful
  4. Oh man for me its definitely the pieces from 2007-2010. Everytime I break a piece, my heart breaks a little bit.
  5. Man some of these really blow me away. I went and purchased two from your site. Can't wait to display em!
  6. Decided to paint Karzahni's olisi at work today in a tattoo-ready fashion. Get at me if you live near CT and want this.
  7. I've talked about this before but I will reitterate my opinion on CCBS and HF. I never liked hero factory and even hated it in some instances. For whatever naive reason, I had contrived in my head that HF killed bonkle. When I first saw the 2015 sets, I was initially extremely excited and literally got punched in the gut with nostalgia. After the shock wore off, and I really examined the sets, I became upset that they used the same system as hero factory. I dipped my toes into bionicle 2015 by getting LoSS. His look and build reminded me of the '01 Rahi. After building him, I decided to get a few protectors to really see how I felt about CCBS. I enjoyed building them, but the look still made me think of hero factory. It wasn't until my girlfriend got me all 6 masters that I really started to get it. I put all 6 together in one night, and I started to really like them. They all just look sooooo good, and the fact that they used the same system as hero factory started to disappear in my mind. Over a couple of months, I came around completely and I now love the 2015 sets, almost even more than anything from G1. I still don't like hero factory, but I more than understand the reasons for Lego coming up with CCBS. The G2 bionicle sets take what Lego seemed to try with HF, and just do it right. The sets just really blow me away, even still after having them for over half of a year. The skull villains just kill it too. I was able to overcome my nostalgia for the original bionicle, and I can objectively see why the G2 sets are better. Subjectively, you can prefer whatever bionicle you want, they both have their merits, but I think the only way you could deny the G2 sets being objectively better is if you're clouded with G1 nostalgia.
  8. I went by the target in Danbury, Connecticut last night and they had a display featuring Kulta, Ekimu, scorpio, and warrior only. The only sets they had for sale were SGvsMM and Slicer. Very weird.
  9. I'd like to one day own every set released. I'm Almost up to 100 sets.
  10. YO sent a pm for a shirt waitin 2 hear back
  11. Objectively, ccbs is better. Subjectively you can argue which looks better. Bionicle system parts are very greebley and robotic and unique but ccbs allows much better physique sculpting.
  12. Phantoka lewa's air katana is a favorite for sure. The two new skull villain blades are awesome and definitely becoming favorites of mine. A lot of the vahki blades are pretty awesome too. This is a hard question to answer with just one.
  13. Yeah I'd say tarakava. At least the muaka and kane-ra have some resemblance to animals. The tarakava just make no sense at all. They rule.
  14. Nothing too rare. Toa mata nui (gold ignika), several orange vahi, copper huna, trans neon miru, shadow kraata, nycc clear mask of fire, sdcc trans bull skull mask. That's pretty much it for "rare" stuff I guess.
  15. Rahi, Visorak, half of the 07 Matoran, Radiak,.... But I still agree with the rest of your post. That's what, 10-15 sets out of 250? I'd say that counts as "rarely", or if that word is too strong then they "barely" had any non humanoid sets. The point is that there were not a lot of non humanoid sets in all of g1, and that I think it's cool that they stuck one in the middle of a wave with all humanoid figures.
  16. I'm gonna mess it all up and say Skull Scorpio. Very rarely has bionicle attempted a non humanoid character and this is such an awesome set to see in G2's premier year. I love his creepy design, I love his mask, I love his tail, I love his color scheme, I love everything about him. I feel like his look is the strongest of the 5 summer villains. His build is definitely incredibly unique and no one can deny how well designed the tail function is. You can subjectively argue that the tail doesn't necessarily match the rest super well, but it's function and capability more than make up for it in my eyes. It honestly doesn't even clash with the body in my opinion. He was the one I was looking forward to getting the most, and after getting them, he's definitely still my favorite. Go team skull Scorpio!!
  17. I'm on vacation in Wisconsin and I bought a third skull warrior. My goal is to have an entire skull army of my own.
  18. Gold kulta mask got me all "THAT MASK IS MINE"

  19. Wow if these were what the inika actually ended up being, I would have liked them sooooo much more. These are all so awesome.
  20. Oh man I'm so excited for these to hit the states. That mask is awesome. I'm gonna definitely get a whole bunch of these.
  21. This is really hard question to answer. The kraahkan is definitely one of them. The new skull masks and the mask of creation are easily favorites now as well. The rode was my favorite for a while. Over all, it might be the ignika, but the MoCr really is a strong contender too. They're both such beautiful and creative designs.
  22. GSR is def the coolest element in bionicle. Whenever I tell someone about bionicle stuff, that is usually the one thing that makes them go "whoa that's pretty sick"
  23. Objectively, maxilos probably is the best. His build is just insane and uses so many parts and looks so darn good. Spinax is also pretty sweet and uses some really good parts. Subjectively, sidorak is my favorite. He's tall and creepy and has a claw hand and a blade arm. I love him.
  24. Set wise, the 2015 toa. Story wise, the metru/hordika toa.
