  1. IC: Ektana - The Wastes (Shipwreck) She glanced over the Vortixx' shoulder to get a better look. The winged creatures seemed to be desperately trying to block any attacks headed to the hive's center. Only now Ektana noticed the bigger 'mother' of the swarm. "Well," She said slowly. "He has a good idea. Not sure about the execution tho." "Maybe if most of the smaller ones decide to sacrifice themselves to block the fire, then the tables might turn."
  2. IC: Ektana - The Wastes (Shipwreck) Ektana glanced suspiciously at the unknown Jetrax approaching, but smiled a bit the moment it attacked the swarm. She flew The Machete behind the shipwreck and landed it there. All the Vorox seemed too busy to follow her. Noticing a dent in one of many steel plates, she grabbed it and bent it harder, making it possible to enter the ship. Ektana stepped inside and started searching for Saffina.
  3. IC: Ektana - The Wastes (Shipwreck) Shocked that the creatures got out of her way, she continued to fly while keeping them at a relatively safe distance. Ektana looked down at the shipwreck, worried for her partner.
  4. IC: Ektana - The Wastes (Shipwreck) "Saffina?!" Ektana looked in confusion as her companion made her way inside the wreck. The shrieking was way too loud - the Skakdi couldn't hear a thing Saffina was saying. She looked up; the creatures were flocking together and blocking the way out. Once again, she glanced at the entrance the Vortixx had previously kicked in. Cursing under her breath, Ektana jumped into her vehicle and began to rise up, hovering several feet above the ground. From inside of The Machete her face turned grim. "Let's do it the traditional way," she said and started the ship, aiming towards te creatures and ramming into them in hope of getting through.
  5. IC: Parii - Cliffside What. He wasn't entirely sure what exactly happened. Parii woke up from his "trance" once the group left. He tried to catch up, but before long he could only see their ship taking off. He stared into the sky, his eyes following the airship. Well, at least he was still alive; that's a good thing. Probably. OOC: why am I so late, I literally missed all the good stuff. Parii is OFI
  6. IC: Ektana - Shipwreck Ektana glanced at the Vortixx for a fraction of a second and started running towards her ship, hoping to get inside in time. "Saffina?!" she tried to scream through the cacophony of shrieks and wingbeats.
  7. IC: Ektana - Shipwreck After a full round around the aircraft, she put her worries aside. "Everything seems good," Ektana reported.
  8. IC: Ektana - Shipwreck Her ship turned left and she took off to take another look around the wreck. She was flying close to the ground, inspecting holes up close and glancing away every now and then toward the horizon. Ektana's gut was telling her that something was there, waiting. IC: Parii - Cliffside Parii kept staring, curious of who will win the fight.
  9. IC: Parii - Cliffside He had stared in horror until they mentioned Fe. The moment Barlow was shoved to the side by Xaril, Parii hid completely and stopped looking at the group. Instead, he listened, anxiety still making his stomach twist. IC: Ektana - the Wastes Ektana carefully lowered The Machete to the ground. She glanced at the Cargo Haulers indifferenty, even though she felt nervous. For whatever reason, the wreck seemed to give off this weird, eerie aura, as if it was watching every step she and Saffina took. "Wait," she said to Saffina. "I'll check the place once more. Something doesn't feel right..."
  10. IC: Ektana - scouting the Wastes The dents on top of the wreck didn't make her any more comfortable with the situation. She cautiously approached one of the holes to get a better look - the framework was absolutely devastated, bent metal leaving long shadows on the ship. Ektana's mind started racing. Maybe it has been a group of pirates who shot the airship down? She grunted as she remembered the ever famous Blackbristle from Cliffside - it wouldn't be a surprise if it was him. Still though, the damage was unfathomable. "Well," Ektana growled. "What now?..."
  11. IC: Ektana - scouting the Wastes She was hovering above the wreck, observing the surroundings - still, nothing...
  12. IC: Ektana - scouting the Wastes The Machete approached the big dark shadow which was apparently whatever was left of the ship. Ektana frowned at the sight befor her. What the ####? She quickly realised that it wasn't just some treasure-hunting game anymore; there was no way in karz that the airship could have been damaged that bad by some cannon, and especially not one used by Vorox. She clenched her fists and flew closer. Whatever's in there better be worth the hassle. IC: Parii - Cliffside He stared wide-eyed from the shadows as the Bruiser got pulled back by Varim's powers. They started talking, but he pretty much stopped listening after the mention of the note. Suddenly he felt a shiver down his spine and his bag seemed to weigh much more than usual. His head was spinning with anxiety. When Barlow attacked the two, Parii hid even deeper in shadows, making sure he was still out of the group's sight.
  13. IC: Ektana - The Wastes She kept going, carefully scanning her surroundings. No one, at least for now. IC: Parri - Cliffside, outskirts He hurried after Xaril, sticking to the shadowy patches in hopes of not being seen, What in karz is going on?
  14. IC: Parii - Cliffside He flinched slightly as Xaril regained his consciousness, but quickly pointed to the left, where small makeshift facilities were left damaged by the fleeing Bruiser.
  15. OC: Parii - Cliffside The longer he followed the shady group the more scared he was - he knew very well that he was leaving the safe walls of Capstone, thus exposing himself to all possible muggers that could be roaming around here, in Cliffside. But oh well - curiousity is the first step to h*ll after all. Once the group stopped, he witnessed their quarrel, with one of the beings being knocked down by the Turaga. As Varim left to chase Barlow, Parii shyly left his hiding in the shadows and approached Xaril, carefully kneeling down beside him four feet away.
