    Well well well... Here I am again, back with some more "work" As per usual, each photo will be hidden with a spoiler tag so it doesn't take forever to scroll down.     Hewkii, Nuparu and Matoro are the ones I like the most - but even Hahlis color scheme is an improvement over the one we got

    Thank you very much! Perhaps one day; have a sketch atm of Lewa Nuva performing a Nova-blast :b But I am more focused on regular photography, only casually drawing when I feel for it Thank you, but no - when I drew a lot back in the day people started requesting so much it sucked the fun out of it - and now with work etc. it isn't something I do very much anymore unfortunately :b

    When I'm not out taking photos, I occasionally draw as well. Made this on A3 in a couple of hours, using a photo of the figure posed in my hand as reference Hope you like it

    Oh, that's really cool! So simple to implement, yet gives such a great effect Yeah it's pretty simple, but quite effective

    I use a simple piece of 3-axle length rubber tubing (like the one used in the Boxor set for instance, just cut to lenght) for the Toa Mata/Nuva and matoran As for the bohrok, I've removed the to long gears, and swapped them with ball socket and the ball joint from the Glatorian lines (if you know which piece I'm thinking of) to get the movement :b I am very happy to know it's not just me that can find some childish nostalgia in this little hobby! :b As for the environments I've used everything from small clumps of dried dirt on a plank of wood, sprinkled with powdered sugar to recreate a snowy landscape, to real locations near my home - but since Denmark is pretty flat, and the part I live in is almost at sea-level across the entirety of it's area, mountains and such haven't really been an option :b I refuse to use photoshop to edit the backgrounds I get; though lighting, contrast and such is fair game IMO That's why many of the photos have a more realistic feel, while some others have more of a commercial-kind-of-feel to them Especially the one of Lewa swinging, compared to the Kohrak Kal one

    The snow is actually powdered sugar for most of them, as snow doesn't tend to fall as regularly, or be there long enough for me to exploit, because of the climate but thanks alot!

    Thank you very much Katuko Of course some photos are getting quite old (2005ish when I first started taking photos of my figures) so my 'skills' have improved over the years :b I try not to take photos that would need photoshop or anything like that, though I usually play a little with contrast, light and color density to get the right feel across

    Yeah it was quite expensive to get my hands on 'em.. Glad you like them! Unfortunately I live in Denmark, and it's not exactly like there are mountains around.. Have to work with what I can, and I'd rather have a few plants out of proportions, than big buildings in the background

    Hello there! A couple of years ago I posted some pictures that I had taken of several BIONICLE generation 1 figures with my phone. Needless to say, I've continued that hobby occasionally, mostly with the older waves (2001-2003) but some newer ones have snuck themselves onto my camera roll from time to time. I wanted to show you the latest pictures I've taken, and as far as I could see this was the part of the forums I needed to do that in, so by all means move it if I am wrong Brickshelf account with more pictures: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=558157 As the folder has just been updated you might have to wait until tomorrow (May 9th) before it's visible. Well... First off, some of the long-timers might have seen this before - but this is the 'accidental' photo that started it all. Lewa Nuva (Normal) And some of the more recent ones: Nuhvok Kal Gali Nuva (Adaptive Armor) - notice the rain droplets on the mask and in the air. Took this on my window while it rained, by flipping it 90 degrees. Gali Nuva (normal) -Taken today (may 8th)

    Around the anniversary date of the Titanic disaster, I told you guys about finally having achieved a childhood dream - and how my wallet suffered in the course of doing so Well.. not that I've changed anything on the ship itself; but I've added some features that I think make the ship look more like a 'generic' model on display, rather than just sitting on a chest of drawers (if that's the correct term). As with my first topic, I put in a link to my brickshelf account where there will be more pictures to see this time around as well - but as I write this the folder is not yet public (takes a day or two, so should be accessible on the 27th of April at the latest) so you might have to wait a bit.     Hello there! At the age of 27 I finally managed to bring a childhood daydream to life which took about 4 months because my left hand underwent surgery at the beginning of March due to a work injury which severed a tendon in my thumb. Allthough I've made previous builts of this iconic ship since the age of 11, it's only ever been with the bricks I had on hand - so imagine my wallet's sudden discomfort as I found out about Pick-A-Brick... Around $900 USD and a ton of research via fotos on both Google and in several books later, this is the final product of my current creativity capability. (Keep in mind the price is only for the new bricks; not including the majority of the hull and it's supporting interior I already had my hands on). Some liberty has of course been taken, as the scale isn't fit for every aspect of this project, so some parts of the superstructure have been changed for accomodations. Accessories such as benches have also been placed somewhat random. Measurements: Width: ~16cm (6.29 inches) Length: ~156cm (61.41 inches) Height: ~32cm (12.59 inches) from keel to top of smokestacks. Weight: Estimate is at around 8-10kg, but won't know for sure until my hand is fit enough to lift it. Amount of pieces: Somewhere between 8-10.000 bricks. As I haven't resized the pictures and they would be way to large for me to put them all in this thread, I'll instead put a link to my Brickshelf account where there are more to be found (you might have to wait a bit before the files go public, as I uploaded them today) :b Enjoy!
