  1. 1. Lloyd missed out on being a kid. He was a kid, then bam, he's a grown man, complete with all the problems that being an adult brings. That wasn't made into a real part of his character even though it's kind of a big deal. 2. Garmadon coulda had an arc where he improves as a person and becomes normal again by his own choice, but no, we gotta have 1-dimensional characters, right? 1. He wasn't technically turned into a full on adult. He was aged up to the Ninja's age, which is in the ambiguous teens. He really didn't miss much in the grand scheme. However, I do agree that they missed an opportunity for him to miss out on pieces of his childhood. 2. One of the best parts of the really sub-par March of the Oni was adding layers to the evil-again Garmadon, to keep him evil while still showing that he still had just a bit of good in him. He shouldn't become normal again, because that would be a retread of his past arc, but what they have now is exactly what they should be doing.
  2. I have a feeling that Lloyd is stuck like this forever. I doubt he'll change back to his 'real age' because that would just confuse people who haven't been watching since the beginning. I also think that Garmadon will stay an Oni for a long time. Retreading his redemption/turning into a human arc would just be redundant, which is why they've kept him as a very anti-hero-type character since Hunted and MotO.
  3. A little over a year and a half ago, I decided to follow Lego artist AshnFlash and try to make my own custom Lego Minifigure Series. If you don't know who AshnFlash is, that is probably a confusing sentence. In short, I just took a property I really enjoyed and drew a CMF series specifically for it, at first with just the minifigures, and now complete with checklists and even packaging! Over the past year and a half, I believe I have improved greatly, and I still have many in the works. My very first one, based on Doctor Who: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9qWuTMjQvo My newest one, based on Star Wars: The Clone Wars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2zBSUb8pc8 And every thing in between, from Gravity Falls to RWBY to Zelda to The Flash and several other things: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLG4s5xjRGTHwIkwUofkXeNn-fg4HqlZfC https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLG4s5xjRGTHzQQEmbEa7ZFEA6H-u1mNBg https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLG4s5xjRGTHw0aVT35Vz5ZNMet3TYMj74 So, please, watch and enjoy! Leave whatever thoughts you have, and be on the lookout for more series in the near future.
  4. What's important to remember is that all of this was fairly early in the show's lifespan, before it had truly found it's footing. The examples you give of Jaller and Matoro are from fairly late in Bionicle's story. Ninjago had pretty much just started when Zane was revealed to be a robot, and yes, he comes to terms very quickly but his robotic qualities become driving forces of the show going forward. Pretty much the entire reason that Ninjago is so technologically-based now can be traced back to that one episode, where Zane became a central character. Likewise, Jay and Nya's relationship is very simple early on, but in later seasons it is focused on and given weight. Season 7, specifically, was entirely focused on Jay almost forcing the relationship to happen and the consequences that come from it. Only focusing on the early seasons and not the newer ones, especially Season 3-onward, is a bit unfair to the theme as a whole. But I'll give you the Cole example. He's definitely been snubbed time and again.
