    RTX Time!

Heh for all I know we did. Hard to know, but would've been cool. The first day was pretty nice. Gonna go do a quick write up on that actually..

    RTX: Day One

Had a fairly enjoyable first day I think. Started off with Funhaus (after getting there pretty darn early and waiting around a lot). That panel was absolutely hilarious. Every bit. The opening PowerPoint, the fan comments, Quiplash.. Glad one of my friends pushed to go there. Although I still would've liked to see the RWBY one going on at the same time. I think I'm mostly caught up on what was said there though. Didn't spend much time on the show floor today. Just too many panels we wanted. Walked around it though and will be revisiting tomorrow, likely buying merch too. Tried to start Murder at the RTX, but right as we got the front the app sent out an alert letting us know that lines for the room On The Spot was in were starting 2 hours before the panel instead of 1... For some reason. Just that room. So we left. But I loved On The Spot! It was the #1 thing I wanted to see (it's the only Rooster Teeth content I've gotten my fiancée into so far. We both enjoy watching it together and she made sure to catch the stream of it this week too). Then we went to Master Pancake's show. Wasn't too into the movie they were doing, Terminator 2, but it still had some good moments. Now for tomorrow... And what looks to be a very long day. ~|ET|~
  3. Complete names right off the bat? Neat. Very, very neat. Also intrigued by what the creatures will be. Always loved me a good Rahi before. ~|ET|~

    RTX Time!

Wow, it's here already! Almost don't even feel ready.. And I'm absolutely exhausted tonight. Picked up two friends at the airport today and then we went and got our badges. I'm really excited to attend, but at the same time worried about how much I'll enjoy it. And nervous. Never went to anything this big (well... sporting events I guess). It almost seems overwhelming being split between three locations to boot. But I desperately need this vacation. So I'm staying optimistic it'll be great. Plus, I got in the autograph session I wanted! (Which... Not a fan of how they did it, but I understand the reasoning.) I'll be seeing Geoff and Ryan on Sunday. Hoping to get my Let's Play Live t-shirt signed by them. ~|ET|~
  5. Aw, I was really hoping to win this one. Congrats, dude! ~|ET|~
  6. That is some sweet papercraft. And awesome to be getting stands from LEGO for these in any way. Almost makes me want to buy a ton just for the stand lol. Another color for the Kulta mask isn't bad either. ~|ET|~
  7. Oops... I completely forgot to vote in the earlier rounds. Sorry guys and gals! What made it through to this poll is really cool all around though. I have to admit I wasn't that interested in the theme at all, but I feel everyone here really did a good job. Can easily tell what all of them are supposed to be. I really do like the #1 Metalbeard, but #2 Micromanager comes pretty close. ~|ET|~
  8. By far my blog. Have used that a ton, and have had plans to use it so much more even that I was too lazy to do heh. I missed having a large PM inbox from when staff, so that's also pretty nice. Shame nobody really PMs me anymore... Which is why I've never gotten use out of Group PMs... which everyone seems to adore as well. Makes complete sense that it would be popular though. ~|ET|~
  9. Heh hope he does. Glad you managed to get them though. The Avengers guys are kind of scratching a long, long, loooong held itch. I believe as a kid I only ever owned one Marvel toy. Some random Cyclops with a disk shooter. Yet I've always liked Marvel and its properties. Hasbro's 6" scale has tempted me to cherry pick for a few years now, but I held back. Since Figuarts are something I've already been collecting... They fit in better. And they're far fewer in number. I'm really liking them. Solid thinking on that shipping though. I have a few orders with them in the coming months that I combined just for that. My fault for preordering as soon as things are listed heh. And you better have watched it by then.
  10. Nintendo Amiibo Black Pit BIONICLE 7117 Gresh BIONICLE 7135 Takanuva BIONICLE 7136 Skrall Transformers Combiner Wars Blades Transformers Combiner Wars First Aid Transformers Combiner Wars Rook Transformers Combiner Wars Streetwise BIONICLE SDCC Transparent Neon Green Skull Scorpio Mask Nintendo Amiibo Palutena S.H. Figuarts Yoshi S.H. Figuarts Captain America S.H. Figuarts Hulk S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Marika Peach Energy Arms Yayyy, I finished the Stars! ...In spite of how not great they are! But I don't have to worry about them anymore, so maybe will move on to finishing 2015 now. Especially with the second wave releasing and having acquired that SDCC mask. Which is very pretty and I'm not pleased with how much I spent for it. Which I can't say for... Ugh, Amiibo. I jumped the gun when it was announced that Dark Pit would be a Best Buy exclusive and bought a Japanese Black Pit that day. Unfortunately I did so after the prices had risen a little bit, thinking they probably wouldn't drop back. I was wrong. So I do definitely really regret what I spent. On the brighter side, I got a Palutena from Amazon despite her exclusivity! She was pretty easy to get even though I didn't think she would be at all. So not bad there. And she looks great. I also finished Defensor. Since two of these are just remolds and one just a repaint, they Protectobot limbs aren't that exciting.. Except Rook. Rook is all sorts of awesome. Even if he gets swapped out for a Groove should Hasbro release him, I won't be mad I have him. Then there's the Figuarts. Oh Bandai and Bluefin... Yoshi's domestic release finally, finally happened. And Bluefin, in my opinion, really did something I don't like with it. A lot of the Japanese retailers gave out a 1-Up Mushroom and effect parts with Yoshi. Bluefin decided to give those away at SDCC instead. Maybe they didn't have enough so they thought it was the best way to handle it, but I do wish I had gotten one or that they would have at least communicated to us that we wouldn't. Because two months of silence on Yoshi until he magically shipped was more than enough time for the info of the mushroom's existence to spread and thus expect to receive one as well. :/ Anywho... Next wave of Marvel stuff hit as well. Cap impressed me a lot solely just for being able to put his shield on his back, unlike the Figma. Love his look. And Hulk is magnificent! He's so hefty and wonderfully poseable. Finally Marika is the next step in finishing Gaim. Finally Gaim's only female Rider is here, with some much needed color diversity. ~|ET|~
  11. There are some pretty cool snippets of info there. ~|ET|~
  12. Hey guys. Just wanted to say it's great to see you. ~|ET|~
  13. Wow, over a hundred sold already. This is the single playset I genuinely regret not getting when it was new. It always looked awesome. Don't regret the five tickets I've bought already, though maybe I should consider more haha. ~|ET|~
  14. I distinctly recall finding many Toa Onua (the original, Mata version) in a Boscovs many years after the fact. I'm not sure of the exact year, but I think it was 2005.. Didn't buy one because I had already owned him for years, but still was really neat to see at the time. ~|ET|~
  15. Regarding DRRR!!x Ten, I've really enjoyed the first couple of episodes this season. I felt like they were immensely more coherant than the early Shou ones. That is, the "timeline" is clearer and they're easier to follow. For whatever reason, the first couple Shou episodes just confused me a lot until later things had them all click into place. The one that just aired this past Saturday in particular I really liked, especially with the characters it focused on. ~|ET|~
  16. I will absolutely be buying at least one ticket for this. Excellent raffle item. ~|ET|~
  17. This pleases me greatly. (Although they're a little awkward, yeah..) ~|ET|~
  18. Got mine from there for $35 (just gotta wait for it to ship) and felt pretty good about it, but you people and you're ~$20 ones aren't helping. I like how it didn't take long for the prices to go down and stabilize. ~|ET|~

No it really was at least partially the fault of Hasbro's polls. They held all four limb polls simultaneously with the exact same choices... So people who might have liked one helicopter very likely did vote just once... In different polls. Leading to two winning. Didn't help that the choices were so limited to begin with because a good number of the limb molds weren't in it, but it's not just the "fans" at fault in this case. Nevermind trying to say that just because it won a poll doesn't mean it's what all fans would like and we should suck it up and accept it.
  20. To be perfectly honest, I've been waiting for somebody else to bring it up. For my own purposes, I won't be splitting them. Just like I see no reason to split the sets just because of a few year gap - they're still sets. To me - they're still all masks. But I understand the thinking behind it and can get working on it. Won't be too hard. ~|ET|~
  21. There should be a download button to the very right underneath the picture on Flickr..? But you're right that my mirrored links could use an update. Just kept holding out on Majhost.. Some stuff I wanted to recover from there. :/ I'll see about uploading them to Brickshelf soon. ~|ET|~
  22. Same price I just paid. Didn't take as long as I expected to see it start dropping. Even the ones that started bids low haven't seemed to rise that high yet. All around, you're right, things do look good for anyone interested in it. ~|ET|~
  23. Grabbed a transparent neon green Skull Scorpio Mask for $35 on buy-it-now. Lowest I saw all day. It might still go lower, but that's kind of the highest I reeeally wanted to go. Edit: Ooh, a listing for $39. And they have two available. Not that bad. ~|ET|~
  24. A big group of people probably went into the raffle, winning and handing off six to the one person in the group who wanted to sell them. It is a raffle, so some kids might lose and some older folks may win. Still, it's a bit fishy that he got six. Haha it seems so obvious now. Technically nothing wrong with that.. So either the raffle was leaning pretty heavily towards the winning side or people just kept getting very lucky. ~|ET|~
