  1. I think the Exo-Toa page still exists on web.archive.org somewhere. You can find it if you dig hard enough. As Peri suggested, I believe it was part of the McDonald's promotion in 2002, so it was part of the McDonald's website, not bionicle.com.
  2. Here are direct links to the images: https://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09-Cov.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--9.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--2.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--1.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09-PG_.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--14.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--13.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--12.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--11.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--10.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--8.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--7.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--6.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--5.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--4.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-09--3.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i804.photobucket.com/albums/yy325/Phantom446/BLR-Official_Movie_Guide-NOV-Back_C.jpg
  3. Thanks RWallace, that's exactly what I was looking for! Actually, it turns out that I am a complete dolt, because I tried to save those files to my external drive only to find that I had already downloaded the same exact scans in 2010 and had forgotten about them.
  4. Hi everyone, When the Legend Reborn was released on DVD, some copies in the US reportedly came with a mail-in voucher for an "Official Movie Guide," which was a booklet that contained backstory about the characters in the movie. More info: https://biosector01.com/wiki/BIONICLE:_The_Legend_Reborn_-_Official_Movie_Guide Does anyone own or have scans of the Legend Reborn Official Movie Guide? I've never been able to get my hands on one and have always been really curious about what's in it.
  5. The one copper Komau that I have is translucent. I had thought it would be opaque too, but I was wrong.
  6. I really doubt it. That was quite a while before the age of streaming, and I've certainly never seen any playthrough videos. A lot of that game was just grinding day after day anyways.
  7. I once received one of these in a trade, and it looked authentic. There didn't seem to be damage from someone removing the red markings. I never analyzed it super carefully, though. Anyway, it seems like this is a real thing.
  8. I did my best to ignore that whole marketing ploy TBH.
  9. Ha, interesting... I never experienced this. I'm still having trouble seeing that way.
  10. Don't post onua more of these puns!
  11. I have 143, 189, 219, 300, 305 (it's a Reward), and 308, all first edition.
  12. It's really great to see all of this information compiled into one document. Over the years we've seen glimpses through various keyholes of what went on behind the scenes, and it's nice to have it woven together into a consistent narrative. I think your interpretations of things are generally spot-on. And the extra research you did, plus talking with Swinnerton, are of course illuminating. Thank you! I think it's worth pointing out in your document that Greg's version of the shadow Toa fight only existed in an internal style guide that was not even seen publicly until years after it was relevant. You could also mention that the Toa/Bohrok "evolution" graphic was present in the Project BUGS video, years before Faber put it up on his blog. Also, I'd like to say that I'm really grateful that people are actually using my OGD archive. I appreciate the links to specific posts to back up information -- I made the site specifically in the hopes that it would encourage people to do that. It's good to know that people are getting some use out of it.
  13. I'd like to make time to do it at some point, if no one else does.
  14. Wow, all these years I had no idea the sticker book actually had story content. I've never even heard that bit about infected masks being cleansed with elemental energies. Thanks for the scans!
  15. The original artwork in the Bohrok book is pretty terrific. It's amazing it's never made it onto BS01 or BMP after all these years. Someone should add it! I noticed a while back that there is actually one QftM story card that has never been scanned and uploaded anywhere -- I think it's the infected Muaka or Kane-Ra card. I legitimately think no one ever noticed. Maybe I can scan that and post it.
  16. Ah, you're going to beat me to it. I've been meaning to do this for months, never had the time.
  17. I've always wondered where those images originated from too. I'm just speculating, but I have always thought that they were made by Templar. Templar obviously used 3D models to automatically generate the vector art of some of the pieces and characters in multiple angles. Maybe these images were concept art or test renders, using those 3D models, that were left over from the process of developing MNOG. What particularly tips me off is that the feet of the Matoran lack the loop in the back connecting the two sides, just like in Templar's work. However, that may be the case in Tales of the Tohunga too (I've forgotten at this point). Templar is also the only studio we know of who envisioned the Makuta fight in that particular way. Since that story year animation was made in Flash, maybe Templar was involved in its development, which would explain why those images were used there and never anywhere else. But your theory is as good as mine.
  18. I think this says everything. I've never taken it too seriously. Also, why they decided to ruin all of their original artwork with that awful urban washed-out effect is completely beyond me.
  19. I haven't had time to play them myself, but from I've heard, it sounds like they are incomparable. The alpha has a lot of interesting content that is not in the beta, and the beta fixes some bugs that are in the alpha (naturally).
  20. Oh, hello there 2015... https://youtu.be/2MmokK1Tn28?t=5m50s
  21. No idea, but it doesn't sound to me like they are the same person.
