  1. All right, I got something good for ya: Alright, somewhere on this entry block there is a link to a printable form of this entry. You can do that if you want to try this problem hands-on. In the above diagram, you must connect square A to A, B to B, and C to C with three (3) separate lines (don't have to be straight). The lines cannot cross each other, cannot go outside of the boundaries, and cannot pass through another letter's square. Got it? Simple, right? Get to it. And no, the answer is not this . I'll post the answer sometime later .
  2. Tuesday, September 5, 2006 Yeah, I'll make an entry today. It can't be long; I'm swamped with homework and I haven't gotten much of it done due to the two-hour nap I just took. I got Bionicle Legends #4 today! I started reading it...it's really good so far. Get it! Huge info on the Makoki stones, DH cameos...you'll love it. Gotta go.
  3. Hm. Scavenger Va at post #782 . Still got a ton of those darn Krana to go... "You. I knew it would be you. Now that you're a Toa Metru, you'll just cast an even longer shadow over me." --Vhisola
  4. Monday, September 4, 2006 Crikey! Bad news coming out of Austrailia today. "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin has sadly died at age 44. He was in the midst of filming a documentary off the Great Barrier Reef when he was killed in a freak stingray accident. Stingrays are naturally passive; and in that area of the world, deaths caused by stingrays are almost unheard of; but, when threatened, stingrays will lash out with a toxic, sometimes 10-inch barb on the tops of their tails. Steve was filming a documentery off the Great Barrier Reef when he got spined by a stingray -- a very rare occurence. The spine went under his ribcage and straight into his heart, killing him. Steve had many close friends in his work and a family, so this is most tragic. [img=http://www.majhost.com/gallery/DihydrogenMonoxide/RatherRandomStuff/crikey_sig.png] On a happier note, there have been MAJOR updates to Bionicle.com! Three new "articles" in the top news section sum it all up. There's a cool new quality animation, much like the ones made for the Toa Hordika and the Mask of Life animations but made by a different company. The good thing this time is that it never freezes up right in the middle! Remember that image with Reidak and Piruk that BZP received earlier this year? This is the animation it was eluding to. The animation is quite beyond any style that Bionicle has done before, and it was hard to follow the story (if it was even trying to have one). It's main purpose sees to be to showcase the Piraka in action (including giving them powers that they don't even have). What's kinda cool is that there are a couple of mini-games within the movie. It's pretty lengthy, too -- it's not one of those little animations that's over before you know it. There's seven new quicktime videos in the movies section, too! Some of them are way too short, and all of them are commercials. The wierdest one would definitely be the Piraka Stronghold commercial (you'll see). What's really awesome is that we finally see Brutaka, Axonn, Vezon, and Fenrakk all in CG! Ignition #2 is finally online now, given "animations" just like the last one. Nothing too big there. Already read the comic. But why are you actually reading some stupid description written by some random BZPier? Go check it out! Have an awesome Labor Day! No school rules!

    Kikanalo Fun

Yes, I've heard Junior year is the hardest, too, worrying about colleges and tests and all.
  6. Friday, September 1, 2006 Hey there, BZP. It's been a couple days since I last had an entry here. I've been ultra-busy with school going now. I just haven't found the time. In retrospect on this past week, I believe that every single weekday was structured the same. I would always stay up beyond midnight every night for one reason or another. The next morning I would have a close call with being late for carpool because I would oversleep, not get out of bed, yadda yadda. I would struggle every moment of school to stay awake, and I would just be waiting to go home. As soon as I got home, I might have gotten a snack or checked the web; and then I would sack out in my room for three to five hours. When I would wake up, it would be dark outside (that's pretty late in the summer) and I would have none of my homework done. But at least I would feel refreshed. I would speed through whatever homework I had, but it would still keep me up past midnight. And then the process would therefore repeat itself. See the problem here? It's a schedule that ultimately leads to a life where all of my consciousness is spent at school or doing homework instead of relaxing and playing, and I'm suffering due to sleep deprivation all the while. Fortunately, I have a chance to abort this cycle of doom during this extended weekend -- thanks, Labor Day! I ordered Legacy of Evil just a couple nights back, so it should arrive by mail around next Tuesday. I'll be sure to say a few things about the book when I get it! Don't get excited -- I wouldn't spill any major spoiler info. I hear there's a new McDonald's Bionicle promo coming soon! Geez, haven't seen one of those in a while! I kinda miss spending every meal at a McDonald's just to chase down every single toy...
  7. Monday, August 28, 2006 It has rained ALL DAY. I had some unfinished homework today for my first class, so I went to school early to take care of that. Today was a bit of a mess, but everything worked out... The journey home was horrible. I waited like 40 minutes at the train station in this arctic wind, and they lock the building in the summer! That's life for ya...much of the time. On a happy note, the Official Languages Topic is up and running now . Man, Tolkien went nuts writing all that stuff. So go check it out!
  8. Sunday, August 27, 2006 ...Gotta do homework today. That should be a crime! English, Science, Greek -- it's all hitting me at lightning speed again. I'm not ready for another school year :annoyed2: .
  9. Friday, August 25, 2006 Yesterday was my first day of school. And I can tell you, even in the "excitement" of starting a new school year , I didn't want to go back today. Got some new kids in my classes -- some cool, some not. And I still see a few old friends even if we don't get the fun of being stuck in some stuffy classroom together for 43 minutes a day. Some of my new teachers I could see right off the bat that they were all right, others are real pieces of work. Actually, some of my teachers have been well spoken of; and I knew in advance that I would be getting certain teachers. Oh, and guess what? Yesterday's weather fitted the mood perfectly -- rain, thunder, and lightning. Well, I had to blow off a blog entry yesterday because I got so much darn homework :annoyed2: . Yeah, some of you early grade school kids are probably thinking What!? Homework on the first day!? Even though I got up at 7:25 AM yesterday, the adrenaline rush of seeing people that I couldn't have cared less about over the summer again got me through my day. Today was...very different. You see, once I get through the first day, I just don't care . I mean, I've already visited every one of my new classes, so what's gonna be new? The fatigue of yesterday really hit me today. Ouch. I faked consciousness throughout most of my school day, and then made my way home by bus and train as I always do. Once I got home, I loafed around for a couple hours, watching TV and stuff. Then right before dinner I crashed in my bed for three and a half hours. I had dinner at 10:45 -- 40 minutes ago.
  10. Wednesday, August 23, 2006 Ugh. School starts TOMORROW. This is my last day of summer vacation. This is it. Now, I live a ways from my school, so we're obliged to host a car pool in our neighborhood. Of course, I'm not so enthusiastic about it at all. So, I proudly present: 20 Ways to get kicked out of Car PoolInstall a novelty car horn -- La Cucaracha will rock the house...er, carDon't take them backBlast the stereo and show off your hydraulicsHave your dad-behind-the-wheel remain unshaven with disheveled hair -- go for the Beethoven lookHave an argument in a foreign languageTell them to drive"Garlic, anyone?"Suddenly realize you left all of your homework at home 2/3 of the way thereGo somewhere else -- the wrong school usually works nicelyMake it seem like you missed car pool at first, then show up outside their house about mid-afternoonParticipate in the occasional drag raceCasually mention the illegal drugs stitched into the upholsteryGo the "long way"Go the "short way"Refer to the passengers by the wrong namesKnock over their mailbox as you drive in (and a couple of garden gnomes too, if you can manage)Decide you're assertive enough to drive down the center of the road"Sorry, kids -- I'm not used to stick shift"Run out of gas on the first dayDrive backwards the whole way thereBe habitually late -- the old classic
  11. Man, it's one of the worst feelings in the world to have your little brother in danger like that . More than once, there have been times where I know God must have been watching out for my little bro.
  12. Tuesday, August 22, 2006 Well, we officially have a new member of the family. You mean I'm finally gonna have a baby brother? No...nothing quite like that...and I already have a little brother, thank you. It's this cat. Now named Shadow. I'm sure I mentioned it a few entries ago. We pretty much confirmed it's ownerless when we teamed up with a neighbor to find it's old address. At first we traced a phone number through whatever serial number Shadow had on her collar. That line was disconnected. Today we got an address, and Shadow's old home turns out to be a vacant apartment building on a not-so-good street about four blocks away from our house. We gathered that they residents moved out a year ago...quite a long time for a cat to be a stray on the streets, no? Maybe our home is not the first refuge for this cat. We've now taken Shadow in the house. Got a litter box for her and everything. she's spend most of the day peacefully loafing around and exploring every dark corner of our little house, meowing every time she wants us to open a door for her (which is strange -- she recognizes doors?). The cat has it's ups and downs, but mostly ups. It's obviuosly been a house pet before, so we don't even need to train it. It's comfortable going up and down stairs, and it even knows the right place to "go." If this isn't all enough, some little chiwawa was poking around our backyard all afternoon. It's actually some little girl's dog who was visiting next door. Apparently the dog's name is Cookie.
  13. So, yeah, I just saw this and framed it for you: CLICK ME Darn ads, messin' up our blogs...
  14. Monday, August 21, 2006 Take a look at this massive post . For those of you it would be useful to.
  15. Hey, GregF, to answer your question: I'd like to know just where the Nuva Cube and the Nuva Symbols came from; how long they've been around; and, if applicable, just what their original purpose was. And, if possible, how Bionicle beings begin their existence.

    Sunday

Sunday, August 20, 2006 I'm just about caught up with BZP news, the OGD, GregF's topics, the usual stuff that I usually keep track of when I'm not away. I looked back at the S&T Suggestion Box, and guess what -- my Official Language Topic idea was approved. So yeah, that was cool. Home life: My brother has spent some of his time today sanding the end of a bamboo pole into a sharp point . He's a wierd one sometimes. There's also this black cat that keeps visiting our back deck. It has a rabies vaccination collar, so I tend to doubt it's a stray. My brother and my mom are all excited about giving it food and attention and even gave it a name: Shadow; But I keep on telling them it PROBABLY LIVES NEXT DOOR . I don't know much about our neighbors, so I can't be sure. That's because our neighbors on our west side live in a condo (three of them), and our neighbors to the east are moving out so nothing we know about them matters anymore. I call our neighbors on the west side condo-people, and they are quite peculiar at times. There's quite a few real estate signs on their front lawn, so I assume at least a couple of them are moving out, too. In, out -- I don't keep track.

    I'm Back.

Saturday, August 19, 2006 Whew! Just got back from my big trip out-of-state, from a week before last Thursday to just a couple of hours ago. All that time I was completely cut off from TV ( ), computers/internet access (double ), and anything related to BIONICLE in any way ( ). I've missed so much...

    See Ya

Thursday, August 10, 2006 This is it. I'm leaving; I'm not going to be able to go anywhere near internet access until a week after tomorrow. BIG NEWS: Just "conquered Makuta"!

    Tomorrow

Nope, never mind -- I'm leaving tomorrow. After that, no internet access whatsoever until probably a week after Saturday.
  20. Wednesday, August 9, 2006 It looks like I'm going to be leaving today. I won't be back until a week after Saturday (if not, one day before). This isn't good for me because I'll be gone on all of the days I'm supposed to buy my books for next year. What really maddens me is how lightly my parents are taking that  . They are doing nothing to plan my getting my books before school starts.

Tuesday, August 8, 2006 Got the Lava Chamber Gate set today . It's a pretty nice set, but I'm not going to comment more on it now -- it's like 11:40 here. :wakeup2: I'm pretty sure I'm going to leave on a trip tomorrow for a week unless circumstances dictate otherwise. We'll see what happens.
  22. Monday, August 7, 2006 I measured a fruit-by-the-foot today. 2' 10''. It's all a lie! There is no three feet of fruity goodness! Got Toa Jaller today .
  23. Sunday, August 6, 2006 Starbuck's coffee ice cream -- best ice cream in the world. Just thought you all should know that. Know the taste!
