  1. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 Hey, guys. The S&T Contest polls are up! I got some votes...some feedback...falling behind in votes though. I happened to make my 666th (8o) post in that poll topic. I went to school today, like I always do. I was so darn tired in class. I got so bored that instead of taking notes, I started drawing exactly what I saw in front of me. The bell rang when I started looking down at the notebook I was drawing on and I had to change the drawing on the notebook I was drawing to match the drawing on my real notebook...right. I fell asleep when I got home for three hours. When I woke up, I had to get back over to tennis. That was fun, but I'm feeling kinda limp right now .

    Alone...

Sunday, July 9, 2006 My family is gone all day, driving my brother to a band camp a couple states away. I'm alone now. But it's not so bad when it's just me and the computer! It's getting close to that time when all of the Lego Magazines arrive in everybody's mailboxes. Unfortunately, I'm one of those sad people whose magazines don't come until weeks after people post the heck out of them on BZPower . I might have gotton my magazine really early once.
  3. Saturday, July 8, 2006 Yep. I joined the BS01 Wiki today! I'll still be known as Planetperson around there. It's fun - changing stuff to the way I want . Ha ha ha! Seriously, though, don't worry. I'll be good. I already made some IMO-good and useful contributions.
  4. Friday, July 7, 2006 "Stupid Freshmen" - that's my motto this year. I swear, I think they sometimes regress to the age of five at times. When I was waiting for the train after school today, they were yelling about nothing, harassing each other for no reason, piggy-back riding...pretty strange. I don't think I did that. Or did I?

    So Tired!

Thursday, July 6, 2006 Pretty normal summer school day as they come and go, except that there was a bit of a food fight in the back of the bus today. Guess where I was sitting: in the back of the bus. Of course, the bus driver didn't do anything because he's either lazy or ignorant...or afraid. I didn't get the worst of it - I don't have enemies there. I only got something from Starbucks on my backpack. Some kid got a sandwich in his hair - and his backback. I went through the day extremely tired. Two bad nights in a row. It seems I'm very good at losing sleep - a little too good. When I came home, I hibernated until 5:20. When I woke up, I didn't even remember where the heck I was at first.
  6. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 Had to go back to summer school class again. Ack. Everyone hates us because we get hour-long breaks while they have to stay in class and get the occasional fifteen-minute break. And we get days off. But it's still a drag going to school when I'm accustomed to lying at home, doin' nothin', maybe posting on BZP all day... My S&T contest entry is finally headed for the polls. Three judges have done the deed, so there's nothing stopping me now.
  7. Tuesday, July 4, 2006 Happy July 4th!!! Good day to be American!
  8. Ugh, the fireworks in my neighborhood. The sound of explosions is cool at 8:00, or 9:00, but 10:30? Happens every year. The neighbors stock up on illegal fireworks and are firing them off until 11PM every night for the next three weeks!
  9. Monday, July 3, 2006 My aunt's coming over today. Was it not just last week that my uncle paid us a visit ? I made a new topic here. Now that I look back on it after making it, I see it's pretty useless. Hey, July 4 is just a day away!
  10. Sunday, July 2, 2006 Today I got more..."appraisal (?)" for my short story. Bonesiii is a picky guy . Another thing - as I write this, I have just gotten BL#3 at last. The hunt is over !

    July 1st

To answer your question, Greg, I would say that I would most like to see the set designers come up with Bionicle models of Rahi that made appearances in the novels but never had any images shown of them, like the Ice Bat or Lava Eel or Stone Rat. They wouldn't have to be too complex, maybe made out of smaller sets that have come out in that year. I think that would be pretty awesome. People would definitely go for it, I think.
  12. Saturday, July 1, 2006 Ah, Saturday. The way that life was meant to be. I have my story up, in case anyone wants to read it: I also made a different topic in sets here. Today is a quiet day. I helped clean out our refrigerator this morning. It had gotten pretty bad. We discovered old carrot-peach juice, old barbecue sauce, a jar of pickles that looked like they could have been part of some sick science project, and uncovered some funky smells in the process. We actually noticed that a few times we had bought something like a jar of peaches, and at some point had shoved them in the back of the fridge, where they would be forgotten. Then, a few months later, we would have bought the same exact thing and done the same without realizing that we had done it twice. The result would turn up today as something like finding a jar of old peaches, and finding an even browner jar of peaches farther back in the shelf. Another interesting thing is that we recovered about eight different bottles of various brands of teriyaki sauces, from the time that our favorite brand was discontinued and we experimented with many other types. Well, I sure hope you weren't think of having a meal right now or something. Sorry 'bout that.
  13. Friday, June 30, 2006 Friday! I'm so happy. I'm done with my short story and have a four-day weekend ahead of me. I'm supposed to read like a four-hundred-page book by Wednesday though. The next few days will have their ups and downs.
  14. Thursday, June 29, 2006 Pretty good day today. I had to go to school again, but it wasn't that horrible. I finally finished my short story today. You can view it here.
  15. Wednesday, June 28, 2006 Must...finish...short story! I'm almost done, but I think I'm stretching it at this point for the contest. Today I visited both Barnes & Noble and Borders, and neither had BL#3 yet. This pursuit for this one little book has been very aggravating and frustrating. Anyone else felt this pain before?
  16. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 Today was really tiring. Another late night, early morning. I'm barely running on Pepsi even now. :wakeup2: I get a day off from summer school tomorrow again. Goodbye now. *falls, sleeps*
  17. Monday, June 26, 2006 I had a history test in summer school today. I got an A. I fell asleep in the middle of the day. Late night, early morning. I still need to do my homework now :wakeup2: .
  18. Sunday, June 25, 2006 My Uncle came last night to stay with us for a few days. That's kinda cool. I also posted this last night. Something that has been bugging me and frustrating me is the fact that none of the bookstores in my area seem to have BL#3 yet. Super-annoying. My short story for S&T Contest #2 is coming along; I may finish it by tomorrow.
  19. Saturday, June 24, 2006 Wow, it's like just past midnight when I'm writing this. I'm just throwing my sleeping schedule all out of whack. I'm going to wake up at like, noon now. A while ago (back when it was still considered "Friday"), I started writing an entry for S&T contest #2. I don't know if I'm even going to use what I've written so far because I plan on writing an entry for all three categories and choosing which one is best and sending that in. I feel like posting what I have now here: == == == == The two Rahaga Norik and Pouks walked through the littered jungle of power cables and rubble that was Le-Metru. “That section needs only a few Bio worth of chute length,” said Pouks. The two long-time friends were on a scouting mission in this section of the Metru, looking for maneagable repair work. As all six of the Rahaga had come to realize, a workforce of six could not restore a battered city to its once glorious state, even through almost five-hundred years of effort. Despite this, the Rahaga honored the Matoran virtue of duty; and they were always seeking opportunities to patch up the city in any way they could. “Even that span of power cables could be repaired in a few days’ time, and that bridge would take no more than a year,” Pouks continued. The two Rahaga passed many ruined maintenance and repair workshops, and came upon a wrecked airship where a large tower had obviously toppled over and cleaved into the ship’s hull. “This,” Norik said, “is nothing but a mess, of course.” “Right, this is another one of those cleanup cases. We will need to call the other four Rahaga’s attention to this.” Norik and Pouks walked into the interior of the airship. The ceiling of the vessel had many large holes rent into it that illuminted the space with the dim light of only one sun. Normally, the Rahaga were accostomed to moving through areas of Metru Nui that were derelict, damged, even utterly destroyed; but a peaceful perception of silence and neutrality often dominated as well, unless a violent Rahi or two were loose in the area. When there was unbalance, the Rahaga could tell; and there was unbalance in this airship wreck. “Norik, maybe we should leave now and capture this Rahi when we have prepared a little –” “I know,” Norik cut in, “the dust has not settled in here: there was movement here, and not long ago, either. But we should capture this Rahi now while we know it is here, and the fact that a Cable Crawler lies tangled up in a corner over there clinches it.” == == == == And by the way, 400 words is like two-thirds of a page, while four-thousand words takes up about six pages (single-spaced), and that's without dialogue. I tested this by copy-pasting "words" over and over again and saw how much space four-thousand "words"s would take up. Quite a lot, actually.
  20. Why do Gorillas have big nostrils? They have big fingers.
  21. Friday, June 23, 2006 Today my summer school teacher only gave us an hour-and-a-half of total breaks unlike the usual two to two-and-a-half. What the heck is going on!? I have a lot of homework to do and also a lot of material I need to study. But that can wait until the last minute.
  22. Thursday, June 22, 2006 I went to school today. Had two hour-long breaks today in class. I'm so glad my history class doesn't rot horribly like so many of the other ones. That's especially rare for an honors course. During my first break I did some of my homework. During the second I played BS and won over everyone. During the actual class my teacher yelled out swear words while presenting the material he was teaching to us. It's...a good teaching method. I love it when my teachers use that method .
  23. Wednesday, June 21, 2006 Today is the day of the week I have no summer school because my class is awesome. Happy summer solstice, everyone! The longest day of the year! I really put my homework off until the last minute today, so I'm writing this at like 11:30. :wakeup2:
  24. Tuesday, June 20, 2006 Looks like I forgot to write yesterday. Probably because I fell asleep in the middle of the day. Yesterday was my first day of summer school. I have an awesome teacher. He gives us breaks in the middle of class to do homework or walk around to other parts of the school that last about forty minutes long. Just today I got a full hour-and-a-half out of class while everyone else only got three ten-minute breaks. Life isn't so bad. I still get a lot of reading homework though, especially for a history class.
  25. Hey, looks like my entry is coming in a slow third behind Be Kold and Become a Magician! I need to put a little more effort into the art if I can compete with entries like that in the future. But in the meantime, readers, if you want to look at Join the Ignika in AC Poll 3, be my guest!
